So one of our wravelers just came back from Spiti with amazing memories and shots.

Langza the fossil village.
We left from kaza at 10 o'clock, soon we realized that rear tyre of our bike is punctured. Luckily, we were at kaza, tyre got fixed in no time, but on a sunny day Kaza can be unbelievably hot. To reach Langza from kaza you need to take a right once you leave kaza within a few Kms, and the diversion is properly visible with signboards.
There was a crashed car on the diversion which made us think and actually helped us to be more cautious on the roads. Roads to Langza are tarmac with small rough patches, and steep ascend with good views.
As you approach Langza you can see small fields having green peas and other vegetables growing. It was just 40 mins we were at Langza. We could see Gompa and we stayed there for sometimes before we book a homestay. It was time when everyone felt tired, AMS has started to hit our group. Few took rest including me, rest were enjoying the sunset.. but it was the night that we were waiting for.
After delicious dinner by our host at homestay we packed our camera and went for Gompa. It was barely 100m felt like miles in such altitude. Every step we took made us breathless, but as soon as we made it to Gompa, we were blessed with clear sky and view of Galaxy. We didn't need any Accessories or instrument, we could see the red-purple mixed view of Galaxy with occasional shooting stars.
As it was July it wasn't that chilly, and one simple jacket was giving enough warmth. And it was cozy out there. But to get the best shot you have to move in that hilly area carefully which was again very tiresome but totally worth it.
We got some good Astro shots and Langza was worth every effort.
