Luxury glamping tents in the middle of the outback? Sign us up 🖐️ @kingscreekstation’s secluded ‘Dreamtime Escarpment’ accommodation is only half an hour from @ausoutbacknt’s majestic #KingsCanyon, where you can experience a classic @visitcentralaus#outback setting while enjoying the glamourous trimmings of air-conditioning, bathrobes and a private pool. The accommodation package includes a classic self-cook bush barbecue dinner and drinks package - we’ll certainly be enjoying that while watching the sunset on the deck. 🌅
Rewards at the end of a hike don’t get much better than this🏆 @wandering_hills_ trekked through @westernaustralia’s #HancockGorge trail for a refreshing dip in #KermitsPool, which is often described by hikers as ‘a journey to the centre of the earth’ as you have to climb down a ladder to reach this lovely spot surrounded by polished rocks. This challenging walk has lots of steep descents, loose boulders and narrow passages, so it’s best done with a local guide like @westozactiveadventuretours.TIP: Stay a few nights at the nearby @karijiniecoretreat so you can explore more of this @australiasnorthwest national park, and come back to a nice shower and a hot meal at the onsite restaurant at the end of the day.
“Welcome to your #GreatBarrierReef private tour, right this way.” 🐢 @phlipvids captured this rare sight at @heronisland last week, which was made possible by @queensland and @uber_australia’s #scUber, a limited-time rideshare submarine service you can’t find anywhere else in the world. The #scUber launch site has now moved to @tropicalnorthqueensland’s @portdouglasdaintree, and you have until 18 June to experience @gbrmarinepark this magical way. If you’re lucky, you might get a local turtle tour guide too. 😉

Today we’re chasing waterfalls in #LitchfieldNationalPark 💦 @robmulally recently visited @ausoutbacknt’s spectacular #FlorenceFalls, which he highly recommends as “a must-do for those visiting #Darwin”. Many of the park’s freshwater swimming holes have now reopened for @tourismtopend’s dry season, so make sure you bring your swimsuits along. After a refreshing dip, dry off by doing the scenic walk up to the viewing platform for panoramic views of the open valley before the 1.5-hour drive back to Darwin.
Sorry, can't play today, mum said I'm grounded 😶 @lonepinekoala's keeper Karen spotted this snug #koala joey at the @visitbrisbane#wildlife sanctuary, and its cuteness level is off the charts. Keep a close eye when you visit this @queensland sanctuary and you might just see a little joey looking right back at you. 👀 Crazily enough, by the time we humans see koala joeys, they're already 6 months old. Born as teeny one gram creatures up high in a tree (such clever mamas, right!?) they move straight into the pouch and remain unseen until they're ready to face the world around 6 - 7 months later.
Midweek daydreams look like this 😌 @saltytravellers were "incredibly in love with these rock formations contrasted with that incredible water colour" in this lovely spot in @westernaustralia's #Esperance. Only a two-hour flight from #Perth, @nullarbortravel, @especotours and @aatkings all run guided tours to this gorgeous part of @australiasgoldenoutback. You'll want to make sure to pack your swimsuit for all the swimming and snorkelling you'll do at the idyllic white sand beaches.
Just going for a swim with some mates. 🏊🏻♀️ According to @all.about.adventure, “this day was absolutely magical, floating in the crystal clear blue water and surrounded by gentle stingrays” in @southaustralia’s #CoffinBay. Located half an hour from @port_lincoln, this beautiful part of @eyrepeninsula is one of the top spots to see #stingrays in the wild, and they are curious and playful animals that sometimes swim up to visitors frolicking at the #beach. After swimming with the locals, make sure you fill your belly with some famous Coffin Bay oysters at @purecoffinbayoysters or @1802oysterbar.
“RISE AND SHINE!” 📢🐦 This handsome #kookaburra@gmwyncoll spotted at @visitcanberra’s @jerrabomberrawetlands would make quite an effective alarm clock, we think. Just 10 minutes from #Canberra’s city centre, #JerrabomberraWetlands is a natural reserve that gives shelter to migrating birds from all over the world. Book a birdwatching tour at the reserve to learn more about the 200 species that call the wetlands home, and pick up some bird spotting skills along the way. It goes without saying that you should have your camera ready at all times on your stroll. 👀
