I’ve thought about this for a long time, trying to figure out what to say to comments like “I really miss your blog!” Or, “Will you ever post again? I wish you would.” To this I say a heartfelt Thank You. But let me tell you something. As much as the girls and I wanted Boyer Sisters to keep going, the last thing we wanted to do was force it.
The blog began as a natural extension and expression of who we girls were as growing young adults. The blog was the place we would share all our latest and greatest. It’s where we connected with a lot of new friends, like you. But you have to take note of that “growing” part.
We grew out of the blog as naturally as we grew into it. It served its purpose for exactly everything that it was, and we girls gained a lot of knowledge/experience from that period of our lives. It prepared us with many life skills we otherwise wouldn’t have and are now using in other ways.
I believe if we kept blogging, we would have been pressured to stay the same. And no one should desire that. We should always seek to grow in new ways, and open ourselves up to new aspects of life. Growth and change are two beautiful and necessary parts of life. So let’s use them, and let’s keep climbing higher. #journey#change#greattimes#yolo#makeitcount#climbhigher
