Name an asana you haven’t done in a while. And why you stopped practicing it. .
I haven’t practiced chinstand in a bit. The reason is as silly as it made my chin uncomfortable. I really had no reason to stop. Not sure what enticed me, but today seemed like the day to bring it back. .

Coming back to my Toronto has been like a roller coaster 🎢 , a mixed of feelings, some are exciting, some are tough and some are just incredible. I found a different Toronto, and I know it is because well I am the one who is different, I am simply not the same who left a year ago. And I thank life for that, for helping me grow, for the lessons I learned and for showing me what really matters in life, and how magical this incredible world is✨But now I found myself here, in this new world where everything seems the same but also completely different. Those who used to play an important role on my life are no longer here, and its not easy, but those changes have also gave me the space to actually focus on me, on what I really want, to keep working towards my dreams and just to keep going and dont give up, because I know the universe has something ready for me, just as it always does, and I will keep fighting towards that 🧡🙏🏽

Today I taught my last class at @dharmayoganyc 23rd St. Thanks to the lovely yogis that came to practice, it was such a special offering ✨ This place it’s been my yoga temple for the last five years 💜 so much memories that I will keep forever in my heart 💘
Also today was the last kirtan and closing with a beautiful ceremony 🥰 🔥
So deeply grateful for this wonderful place created with so much love by Dharma, Eva, all of the amazing Dharma Yoga Team, Teachers and students 🙏🏽✨🕉 Looking forward to open with love a new chapter right around the corner 😍 at the new Dharma Yoga Studio, can’t wait to draw in my soul happy and special moments with all of you! As long as we are lost in the chaos of our own thinking, the activity of our own minds, we stay on the surface. Working with the body has a very interesting effect on that chaos. The more we COME HOME to the body, the more that surface static begins to quiet down and cease to dominate and control our experience. In the Tantric tradition, working with the body, is the basis for self inquiry. .
Many people assume that working with the body is actually a preliminary technique and that later they are going to get to more profound things.
The more you study Tantra, the more you commit to feeling everything fully, and the more you find yourself working with your body in more and more subtle and extensive ways. You realise that there is nothing more profound than the capacity to feel, witness and be with your direct experience. .
Tantra is about working with reality, about working with this earth, working with our feelings beneath the surface, exploring our experience - it's not about catapulting one's self into a different realm, it's not about leaving behind this concrete earthy reality that is ours and it’s not about mentalising our experience. By working with the body we are able to explore the mystery within us, explore the experience of being human. We are able to take radical responsibility for our current reality.
Are you in your body? Breathe. Feel. Feel and listen to whats going on in there, and then you will actually be able to feel and listen to whats going on “out” there with a beautiful receptivity.
The education system teaches us to be in our minds. Tantra is a re-education that guides us to be in our bodies.

What I'm inviting you to do is press the delete button on your mind. Press the delete button and let it all be gone. Then ask yourself "How do you want to program your mind?"
My world has felt a little bit -upside down- this week. All the leaves are falling and there’s almost an intensely crisp sense of change hanging heavy in the air. Staring at these beautiful colorful leaves on the ground this afternoon I began to drift away in thought.. about the seasons & cycles of life, and love, and birth & death, and joy & sorrow (one of my favorite Khalil Gibran poems). Before long these fallen leaves will decay and return to the Earth, as is a part of the process.. a part of Nature.
Maintaining a soft smile, knowing that.. one day, I will join them (it’s not that grim I promise)..because I truthfully lean into & trust this process with all my heart, but that doesn’t mean it’s not weighing heavy on me sometimes.
My sweet fur baby is coming up on 13 years old, and is having a really hard time. 🐾
Watching his decline has been wearing on my soul. We’ve been through so much together. We’ve been so many places, and had so many epic adventures.
Witnessing his continual physical struggle has me strangely determined to make the most of this life.. to remain present and remember what is important. To love even harder, and to remain steadfast in my commitment to my heartspace. Time passes by.. and everything fades into a dream, and it’s all just a part of the process.
I can’t stop time. I can’t make my sweet boy young again. I can only continue to love him with all of my heart, and I know that I won’t stop when he makes his way over the rainbow bridge, because I trust and believe that the physical body is not the determining factor of our existence. I hesitated posting this because it’s very personal and emotionally intense, but I felt the need to share. I hope you will all take a deep breathe with me, and send my boy some love. Xo
🌃 Good Evening everyone, and I guess this is my second post apologizing to you guys!
So after we got back from our world championships in Canada, we basically started moving to our new house right away.
And even after the move we had to work so much on our new place, that I was super busy and exhausted.
These last weeks have been really crazy and so much emotions came up.
It’s been almost two weeks since we moved here, and I just love this new place so much. And slowly but surely everything is coming together.
We have the cutest landlords and such a peaceful neighborhood.... we feel safe and welcome here not like at our old home.
And yeah I’m just super grateful for it, and now we are working on the new studio place and hopefully we can open it up in January. Bunch of work but it’s getting there.
