There have been many instances where my gut told me the truth and I ignored it. There comes a time where you have to listen. The experience is always held in the heart as well as in the gut. When we practice yoga we learn to feel these signals and it forever changes where we navigate our lives. This is one reason why I was attracted to the practice of yoga in the first place because actions are always more important than words. Many people like to talk, but few listen—and apply the principles they speak so highly of. I have learned to read between the lines and not get so caught up in what people say no matter how illustrious. The behaviors we bring forward are the legs we stand on, and I have learned to always be aware of my foundation. This is apparent to me now more than ever. Stay close to those who bring value, truth and trust to the table. Look at the actions not the words. We might be dazzled by a pretty package, but it never gives us what we need, when what we have always wanted was in the effort of a foundation well built. #seektruth #larugayoga

Welcome to day 9 of #AloBoutGratitud#yogachallenge 🧘🏽♀️ Today’s asana is #supersoldier#viparitaparivrttasuryayantrasana 💜
Today’s prompt: Which yoga pose makes you feel more alive? Why?
🤔🤔🤔 I guess is handstand.
Cause I have to be super focus of my entire physical body and breath to keep the posture as long as possible, of course against the wall. Also off the wall, I have to be very concentrated cause this pose is challenge for me, It still feels a bit scary off the wall and off the mat, in the street for example 😅 but despite of the fear I talk to myself like encouraging me, like yes you can do this! 💪🏽 so I do it anyways 🙂I just try to calm down and enjoy it. But if I have the wall close by, or any tiny bit of support I can do lots of shapes and I love it ☺️💜
Can’t wait to see your posts! :)

Today, I once again realized what a blessing it’s to be a yoga teacher.
It is a great gift from the Universe.
I will be always grateful for that.

I almost wasn’t going to post this because of things poppin’ out. But maybe instead of sexualizing a yoga pose, we can all just appreciate the effort and dedication it takes to get into a pose like this. I have noticed I’m losing a lot of female followers, and increasing the male count. I cant help the way my body looks when I pull off some of these moves. So as a woman looking at my account, perhaps take a more subjective and general point of view. And as a male, look at the pose for what it is rather than my ass 🤷🏻♀️ Anyway, just Friday thoughts. And to all my followers here who aren’t sending me creepy sexual messages, thank you 🙏 thank you for looking at this account exactly how I want to portray it - a collection of things I worked hard for and enjoy sharing.
Today is the 3rd of Advent. This Sunday is called the "Gaudete Sunday". Gaudete means "Rejoyce". Advent, similar to the lent time is a preparation time. We want to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. The days before this were more of pennant nature, with the readings of Christ's second coming and judgement. As of today we are concentrating on joy. The joy of Christ having being born, to be born in our hearts and for Christ to come as our king. If Christ is born into our heart, we have nothing but to look forward to Christ's second coming. Rejoyce!
Did you make room in your heart for Christ? Did you make time for God? There is still time. We are only a little more than halfway through Advent. You still have time to make preparations for your heart to receive Christ- fresh and new. Make room by letting go of your unforgiveness, unrepentance, past traumas, anger, hate, burdens... Clean out your heart like in a spring cleaning. Christ wants to be born fresh and new this christmas in your heart. Christ is waiting. And start communicating with God. It is easy, just talk to Him like you talk to a physical person. You can tell Him all and everything. Despite the fact, that He knows everything, He longs for a relationship with us. He longs to hear from us. Prayer, which means speaking to God, is the first step to a relationship. If you want to know what He wants to tell you, you need to read His word. I know it is written a long time ago. But the word of God is alive and living and speaks to each individual personally- if you are willing to read and listen.
When christ was physically born, no one made room for him in a physical way. You can make room in a spiritual way this Advent time. Will you make room?

@yogi_robert_boustany inspiration - take it in and love with an open heart - that is enough! ❤️
Choices always have more than one side
the path chosen is the fall of a balance point and not the full story
Judgements are absolute in a moment, but are often unfairly a interpretation about what happened in a complex scenario
It’s never that simple
Take peace or acceptance in what is
Not why it is
You’re then fair to yourself
Fair to others
And never blame self or others for what happens at a delicate tipping point where a random
Gust of wind caused a fall
Tendencies must be overcome in time and while that happens
Love with an open heart
Take peace without judging what can’t change.
Taking your love away, takes it from
You too! Can you understand the truth of that in a contentious unforgiving world - this suggestion is not asking for agreement but understanding
The beauty of what you’ve had and what you have is to be cherished with gratitude and celebrated, because all things will pass away
(“All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.” : from Bladerunner)
Hold what’s dear with love and patience
Nothing is forever but the truth of who you are. Make this realization count in moments of discord and suffering will lessen for all !
