Tundra and Bianca are 6 month old German Shepherds. At about 60 pounds now these kids are gonna be big dogs.
They lived a sheltered life and haven’t seen much, being shepherds they are nervous of anything they haven’t encountered before. So we are looking for experienced homes. They need some work on leash manners, potty training, and socializing with new things. We know they will blossom into wonderful dogs with a little work.

We have been though a lot since this picture, taken 3 1/2 years ago at our wedding, which seems so long ago and yet I realize we are still “new.” I know so many families are out there struggling with #infertility like we are. For the first time, I am hopeful. Even if our next procedure does not work, we will make moves on the adoption process and we are happy with that as well. So keep those fingers crossed for us!
It feels good to feel GOOD!! I completed my 8 week program this week and decided to get some new clothes as a reward! . .
But can I tell you something?! I haven’t gone clothes shopping in over 4 years. 😳 Well, I have but I haven’t bought anything because I either left the dressing rooms crying or didn’t have the money to buy the clothes. (It was usually from crying and being frustrated.) . . .
I’m actually surprised at how happy I was shopping this time because the sizes I fit in ARE NOT the sizes I want to be in. I know size doesn’t define me but holding up clothes to myself I thought for sure they would fit...and they didn’t. Lol! And I wasn’t upset. I didn’t cry. I just got a different size to try and moved on. . .
Like, what?!? 😅 There’s definitely more than just physical changes that have been going on for THAT to happen! 🥳
. . .

Finished just in time for my friend to enjoy a nice ride home 👍🏼
One of my stepdaughters gave me this gift last weekend as an “early Mother’s Day gift.” I thought I would share it today on #stepmothersday. .
To say this journey is challenging is an understatement most days. More often than not, I feel like I’m royally messing things up. And then there are moments like this, when truly I was shocked that she even thought of me at all, much less wanted to give me something that she created. .
I will proudly display this beauty on my desk. 🤩 .
Two days of manual labour: increased the size of the veggie patch, fenced in the strawberries, added another blueberry bush and fenced in, added a trellis for the blackberries! 💪😊
I'm excited to get the rest of the veggies in posts in the next two weeks, and see it all grow!!
Now on to the grass and flower beds! 🌼

the process or period of gathering in crops.
In order to harvest crops or anything for that matter the seed must first be planted
The seed thrives in an fostering environment. Rich soil, sunlight, water all aid in the growing process.
It is often suggested that talking to plants encourages to reach a higher potential.
Love in the key.
These crops will not sprout over night
If this is the effort put into growing the fuel for the body then we must also maintain the vessel.
In order to have hope, free from despair, the seed must first be planted.
We need to put the effort and compassion into ourselves, have the patience to allow ourselves mature, and then shine and help others
just like the seed from a vegetable that propagates the next crop.
