Once upon a time, this Montreal girl started making morning workouts a part of her routine. Being petite and slim, she was often told that there was no reason for her to work out. She paid no attention to their comments 🗣 as it is important to take care of oneself regardless of how one’s physique.
It was just after 6 months, she began her fitness journey. One morning in the locker rooms, she forgot her belt. In a panicked voice 🥺 to her workout buddies, she yelled, “l have no BUM to keep my pants up!” .
What was she going to do, she pondered, as she slipped into her pants? 😱
Seconds later, she shouted, “False alarm! Guess what? I have a BUTT.” 😅
LESSON: Good things definitely come to those who squat. 🏋🏽♀️
❌ Standing Overhead Press Form ❌
The standing OHP is arguably one of the most difficult and advantageous exercises in the gym, as it not only challenges the shoulders, but also the core.
Unfortunately, people often times perform this exercise incorrectly because of their bar path.
Instead of pressing the bar in front of you, press the bar behind you. Think about THE CUE: Drive your head though at the top. -
This way you will activate all the muscles of the shoulder girdle!
Save this and give this technique cue a shot next time you perform the OHP! 😈
