How I feel when I spend my whole days studying for boards when its beautiful outside. Anyone else with me?!? Comment below🤓💪🏼
I figured I would do a quick post about the main method I use for studying these days. The answer is short, UWorld. I started with content review from @onlinemeded to get all of my basics down and then ramped up my UWorld questions. I started at 40 and now do 80 questions a day. If you saw my video about reviewing questions, I use that algorithm to review my incorrects. This means about 2 hours of taking questions and 3 hours of reviewing. That’s 5 hours a day just in question from UWorld and reading up on my incorrects. In the afternoons, I focus in on an area I am feeling weak in from questions.
I think questions are the best way to focus your studies and find out how to think like the test writer. Rather than try to read textbooks with no direction, the questions give you a framework to fill your knowledge into. Doing practice questions also helps to pick up on “what they’re going after” and the way the will try to tell you what they’re really looking for. The boards don’t always test what is common but they do tend to test concepts in similar manners or settings. For example, if they want someone with epiglottis, every time they will be leaning forward and have pooling of saliva or drooling. It’s little things like that which are picked up from completing thousands of questions before test day.

If it was easy everyone would do it. Fact is, it’s not easy. But it still is less painful than working a 9-to-5 job that you hate.

Einfach mal Umdenken und bisschen Gold anlegen. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’m in a constant pursuit for more. I have never woken up and said “I’m good.” My mind is always racing whether it’s all over the place or five steps ahead I’m working. I’m working to be a better man. I want more of everything. I want more. What is more???? Everything! Whatever there is for to have I want it. I will work harder, be better so my life gets better it’s that simple. It will not be given to me. I test my knowledge, my limits daily. In the chaos is where I thrive and the world ain’t no easy street. There is no vacations in life. There are nothing but tests and challenges. No matter what it can be done. Never falter. #whateverittakes#hatslowletsgo#itaintluck#bringit#neversettle#armageddon#brickbybrick#illneberstoptrying#officalgasp#apollonnutrition#musclemill#workharder
