Last summer, one of our guided dual sport rides adventured out to the infamous Graffiti Highway in Centralia, PA - a town that became uninhabitable after underground coal fires (burning since the 60’s!) ravaged the local terrain like an earthquake. This area also became the basis for the eerie game Silent Hill and attracted tourists eager to leave their spray paint mark. 🌀
Riding here is/was super fun, and challenging. The ladies who joined the ride, guided by the @dvtr_official had an awesome day together. ❤️
Sadly (or not) the highway is being covered over and will be no more. We were already planning to NOT return here in 2020, but are really appreciative that we were able to take more ladies on this ride last year. It was awesome seeing ladies be so excited about this outing that they jumped to get their bikes and selves dual sport ready!! 🔥
Do you have photos from this ride? Share them! We’d love to see. 📸👍🏼💯
Ponytails welcome! We noticed there was no helmet out there that was 🐎 friendly so we decided to do something about it!

Work, workout, work, workout— that was today’s schedule! It sounds much better to me than work, work, work, work. 😜
I have my #wahoopaincave pretty dialed and I have been enjoying my indoor workouts! The key ingredients are a cold garage, a @wahoofitnessofficial Kickr, Zwift, a fun Spotify list, my favorite @volerapparel kit, and intrinsic motivation to keep bettering myself.
I have been keeping up with the happenings in the world, but not as much this week. I needed a break from the overload of information. Instead, I have been enjoying my workouts, the company (I am now QuaranTeam’d at Larissa’s), my work projects (I am so fortunate to still have work), joining podcasts as the third wheel (🧇), and dreaming of warmer days and future adventures. I also competed in a @volerapparel Zwift race that had Dave Towle announcing. How rad is that?!

#tbt funny story- right before this #harleydavidson photo shoot with @drjohn_themodel , the alternator on my vehicle at the time went out and John had to drive 30 minutes out of his way to pick me up...talk about embarrassing first impressions 🤦🏼♀️ thanks friend! Fun shoot! Photographer @eastside.ashley

It’s far from perfect, but I’m proud of my first stained glass piece— a panhead motor complete with an @sscycle teardrop, of course! It’s safe to say I’m addicted! I guess quarantine ain’t so bad after all 😉 Yay for new hobbies! Thanks @ldlmoma for teaching me 💕
Last year, women from all over the world were connected through @womenridersworldrelay across many borders because of our passion for motorcycling . This year, we are again connected by an even bigger event.
WRWR concluded in February, shortly before the pandemic. If the relay had been delayed just by even a few months, we would not have been able to complete it with this current climate. "Seize the day, put very little trust in the future." - Horace
How often have we put the chance to future rather than making use of the opportunity you have now?
Even if we make plans for the future, how sure are we that that everything will fall into place?
Even with so many restrictions in place, we now have the opportunity to stay in and have some introspective moment. Tell me, how are you seizing this moment for yourself or others?
Please help @evo.wid0w if possible. We are sorry for your loss ❤️ Reposted from @whiskyeye Ashley aka @evo.wid0w is one of the real deal homies in the NE moto scene. I first met her when I needed some muscle to load a couple bikes in Narrowsburg, NY after a rager of a weekend, and we’ve stayed tight ever since. I know things are tough for everyone right now, and thank goodness we have our motos to provide at least a little relief. Well, Ashley’s mom passed away this week, her father is already deceased - the only way she knew to provide a funeral was to sell her beloved sporty. You can tell just by looking at it how much this bike is a reflection of her - I couldn’t stand to see her lose that right now, too. Will you help me ensure she won’t have to sell her bike? Anything you could contribute, $3, $10, whatever, would be a huge help. I don’t share things like this too often and I hope that carries some weight as to how important I feel this is.
I hope you’re all staying as healthy and as sane as you can in these weird times. I’m so grateful for all of you. ~WhiskyEye
