Happy Constitution Day! This day is to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution and serve as an opportunity for citizens to learn more about our founding document. Senator Byrd added the Constitution Day clause to the 2004 federal spending bill because he believed that all citizens should know about their rights as outlined in the Constitution. This clause mandates the teaching of the Constitution in schools that receive federal funds. This whole week, September 15th – 21st, is Constitution Week. 🇺🇸 #ConstitutionDay 🇺🇸 (Sound Up) 🎶
—Today is the 232 anniversary of the document that formed the world's longest-running Constitutional Republic, Our country the great USA. Created by the people for the people. So today Let us be reminded of the words of Abraham Lincoln ”We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men/woman who pervert the Constitution.” My prayer is that we never forget how important it is to keep fighting to protect and preserve the God-given liberties & freedoms that are embodied within the Constitution. And Remember this is for all Americans not just a few. Yes even the ones you disagree with😉
Song: sound up- 🎶 “Now, two flags fly above my land that really sum up how I feel. One is the colors that fly high and proud, the red, the white, the blue. The other one's got a rattlesnake with a simple statement made, "Don't Tread On Me" is what is says and I'll take that to my grave. Because this is me, I'm proud to be American and strong in my beliefs. And I've said it before but I'll say it again 'Cause I've never needed government to hold my hand” 🎶 (Lyrics to a song called “country boy” by Arron Lewis)
The constitution is great but the broken system got to be fixed. If we keep going this way, there will be a time the broken system might tear down the constitution we love. The government have to implement the solutions at hand to end the mistreatment and criminalization of #blacks, #Hispanics, and #immigrants. This will benefit the nation to stay strong and it also creates more loyal citizens to the rule of law. #TheConstitution. Politicians in the lobby have to have a limit. There is too much drama- too much agenda hidden from the public. The government is accountable for any lack of transparency or ignorance.#Galatians6:7-8 #BibleVerse#WeThePeople#1787#PA#USA#1776#AmericanDream#857#MasterMind#SerialEntrepreneur#30Patents#7Books#TheMarathonContinues#331#GodBlessAmerica 🇺🇸

Did you know that today is Constitution Day (September 17)?
Chief Deputy District Attorneys Dwain Woodley and Jerrilyn Malana spent the morning at Hilltop Middle School in Chula Vista speaking to students to celebrate our U.S. Constitution.
Here are a few fun photos. The last photo includes our host teacher, Mrs. Dora Cruz. Thank you for inviting us to speak to your class!
