Just about to start making my batch of Christmas candles! For a personalised and thoughtful (yet low budget) present homemade soy candles are such an amazing option. I make mine using essential oils for a clean burn (no toxic carcinogens in the atmosphere), stronger scent and added health properties of the oils. And MUCH cheaper than store bought candles of the same quality. It’s also a great way to reuse glass jars - most of these were condiment jars at one point!

Potato Nachos 😍 Meals like this on repeat or really anything with potatoes! This recipe is for anyone who loves comfort food and toppings. As always this recipe is super simple and the cashew “cheese sauce” is the perfect finishing touch to any dish.
Slice potatoes thin and bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, depending on how crispy you like them. No oil needed!
Toppings: romaine lettuce, tomato, onion, garlic, avocado (guacamole), roasted chickpeas, and creamy cashew sauce (1/2 cup of raw cashews, 1/4 cup of water, juice of one 1 lemon, 1 garlic clove. Blend on high till creamy). ENJOY 🧡 #mindfuleeeeeats#themindfulblonde

With a weekend of fun planned I wanted to pack in my fitness in case I don’t get time. There will be lots of walking and maybe a run or two but if I have done some early morning workouts and a couple of runs during the week I don’t have to play catch up and my priority is just to do fun stuff and enjoy the weekend whether thats doing active things might or just chilling out. Weekends are about having fun and relaxing after all aren’t they.
This week I have managed to fit in 2 strength workouts and 2 runs so far. Now for a little yoga or an ab workout. Can’t decide.
