Here's this week's grocery haul from Harris Teeter/Kroger. 🛒 I didn't get my receipt calculated for the total, but here's my meals planned for the week:
1. Blackened Chicken Tenders and Veggies
2. Keto Chicken Enchilada Skillet
3. Bunless Burgers
4. Cauliflower Fried Rice
5. Sausage and Veggie Sheet Pan Dinner

How to NOT lose bodyfat 👇🏽❌ * Slash your calories/food and Live off salad leaves
* Do excessive exercise just to burn calories * Take away all the foods you enjoy ie all the carbs, chocolate etc
* Avoid resistance training * Weigh yourself everyday, then get disheartened the scale hasn’t moved and then lower food even more and or increase cardio
Why ?? Because this behavior is what leads into a dangerous cycle of binging and restriction. 👎🏼 Does this sound familiar? You decide on Monday you’re going to be “healthy” by eliminating everything you enjoy and deem to be “bad foods”, then it comes to the weekend, you decide you’ll treat yourself to a square of chocolate. That turns into 2 squares then 3 etc, then the bar and before you know it the fuck it button is pressed and you’re on the coach comatised from eating everything possible from the fridge and presses.. 🚫🤰🏽 THENNNN comes the guilt. You think you’ve messed everything up, you feel fat and sluggish and Monday rolls around. The “health” kick starts again and you do even more cardio to “burn off” what you ate along with those greatt skinny teas, Coffees etc🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. The weekend rolls around and your back to binging. If this is familiar you need to re evaluate how you’re going about your nutrition and your exercise. 👉🏼Set yourself up in a slight CALORIE DEFICIT-THIS IS KEY🔑(google the Harris Benedict equation to figure out your total daily energy expenditure TDDE) 👉🏼Incorporate all the foods you enjoy to aid in adherence. 🍪🍎carbs are your friend!
Have a structured resistance training program that is going to aid in your goals not cardio day in and day out. Study by (Miller, T et al) 2000 showed that a calorie deficit combined with Resistance training led to the most optimal results with body fat % going down, and fat mass decreasing more than the Diet only group and Resistance training only group.
Use progress pictures, measurements, clothes, how you feel and the scale IF it’s something you understand will fluctuate every single day! Fat loss is not as complicated as people like to believe.
Calorie Deficit + resistance training and you have yourself on the road to success💃

Clean-out-the-fridge breakfast 👏🏻🙋🏼♀️🤗. It feels like forever since I’ve made avocado toast, and two weeks *is* forever on this Instagram page 😅. Even though it’s fun to switch up meals, at the end of the day (but in this case, the beginning of the day because...breakfast 😆), I always return to the BAE-sics 🙎🏼♀️ (i.e. bread, avocado, and eggs).
