As I’ve progressed in my military career, these 4 words come up a lot. 🤔.
I hear them often while evaluating people for future positions. 🙋🏼♀️.
I also hear these words during my evaluations. 🙋🏼♀️.
I’m one that embraces being average, simple, practical, and basic. (If you say that I’m nothing close to average, look up the average statistics for Americans.) 😬.
Unfortunately, these words have a bad rep. 😥.
Do these 4 words have a bad rep with you? Why? 🤷♀️⬇️🤷♀️.

Completed Day 39 #75Hard After I finished the first half, I suffered soreness on my both legs and feet, I did not stop doing chores like cooked two meals-Turkey Tacos and Spaghetti and complete my second half. About dinner due to no Macros left I was not able to eat spaghetti. I did not realized two turkey tacos was too many, am I doing right? And I am still low on fat and calories. I guess there is a lot to learn. I wish it used that My Transphormation app long time ago because it is helpful. I almost finish with my book “Mindset”, Is there any good book for me to buy next? I am open to everything. I will finish my book by Thursday. Thank you in advance. Good night all. 💪🏼
Can you tell how excited I was to workout today?
I didn't want to do it. Any of it.
What I wanted to do today was smash 2 glasses of moonshine, and sleep for as many days.
But what good would that do me?
I'd wake up hungover and mad at myself for fucking up my program and bitching out.
I'd talk to myself like I'd never talk to another human being.... Talk to myself like my family, and boyfriends did all growing up.
You can't do anything right.
I knew you'd never be able to do that.
Why can't you be more like so and so.
If I gave in today, and did what I THOUGHT I wanted to do, they'd all be right.
I'm working every day, not to prove them wrong, per se, but to prove to myself that I can do all the things I have always wanted to.
That means making the hard choices, missing the party, being alone a LOT, doing the work and keeping that image of the life I want at the forefront of my mind.
Those are all my dreams, and have been since I was a young child.
I won't let people, who don't even know me, let alone themselves, tell ME what I can or can't do. That's mine to own!
Are you living YOUR life? Or are you still letting other people decide who and what you are or are capable of?
Use it! Use the hurt, the anger, the sadness-use it all and move forward towards your goals with a fucking fire they can't ever extinguish with their doubt.
Do the work. Do you! No fucking regrets tonight, or any other night.
If you fall, if you fail... Learn and keep going!
You need a cheerleader? I'm here, ladies and gents, and I'll have your back 110%.
That's it. Go live YOUR fucking life. No cheats.
My home desk is coming full circle. Here I write about language and grammar. I write about the voice of language, it’s something special.
Most people don’t give the voice of their speech much thought but it’s important.
If you allow it to go unnoticed eventually you won’t know the difference of voice in your life.
In life you either affect the word or the word affects you. Grammatically you are the subject either way—Life is about you! You’re in the spotlight and you either cause shit to happen or shit happens to you!
Active or passive: you’re the subject, the life is yours to live. The difference is subtle because you’re always the protagonist.

📌 “the secret to your future is hidden in your daily routine”
—-> are you living each day with purpose and intent? are you spending your time working towards your goals and building the life you want? do you wake up ready to tackle your to do list and lay your head down at night happy with what you’ve accomplished and proud the person that you were that day? because if not, then what the hell are you doing???
❌ dont let this life pass you by. dont put off the things you want to do today because there is no better time to start than now. start showing up as the person you see when you close your eyes and visualize the very best version of yourself. you deserve to have all of your dreams come true, and it all starts with how you are living your life, spending your time and your daily routine - so make sure it’s a good one. ✨
NOW LETS GO ABSOLUTELY DESTROY THIS WEEK 💪🏼

❌ DONT FORGET TO GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK ❌
trust me, i get it. i know what’s it’s like to put an immense amount of pressure on yourself. to want to complete every task or goal to perfection and completely beating yourself up over it if it’s not done the exact way you had pictured. to want to be able to do and conquer all things all of the time. but sometimes you have to realize that things happens, and that’s okay.
👉🏻 life will throw some crazy things at you sometimes. some days will fly by and you will have accomplished nothing and that’s okay. you don’t always have to be moving 100 miles per hour. you don’t have to reach all of your goals in one week, one month or even one year. all you can do is just try to be a little better each day and you cant ask for much more than that. improvement is improvement no matter how big or small! .
✨ give yourself a little pat on the back every once in a while, you deserve it 🖤

Leg day! How many of you guys actually like working out legs?
To be honest for the longest time I didn’t like working out legs. I would make the excuse to not workout legs because of my knee injury.
Now, that I workout my legs 2 times a week, I actually feel like my knee is a little better. Is pretty logic that my legs will feel better due to the reason that my legs and strong and other muscle parts can take some of the beating out of bad knees.
In case of you guys have knee problems, like me, you might need to modified your working routine so you don’t cause more trouble to your knees.
For example, I try using the machines more than free weights on legs days. The reason is that it helps reduce the amount of pressure I put on my knees.
The less stress on the knees the better.
A basic legs routine for me is the following: 4-5 sets of 8-12 reps per set on each exercise. Try to keep use moderate weight, so not too light but also not too heavy.
Leg press machine
Straight leg deadlift
Leg curl machine
Leg extensions machine
Give that a try next time you workout legs and let me know how it goes.
If anyone needs more help, just let me know.
Back to what I was saying, Working out legs have becoming one of my favorite workouts. I’m seen how my legs are growing and getting stronger. I need strong legs with all the running I’m doing and to keep my lower body strong.
Also, we all know that you look cool when you have some nice looking legs! Since I’m always wearing shorts like 24/7 I need to have some good looking legs. Idk about you but I don’t want chopsticks for legs, I want some damn horse legs!
What incredible night with the ones that make me better every single day!
Thank you to each and every one of you that showed up for this special event!

HAPPY MONDAY my fit friends!
Time to set the tone for this week ahead.🍎😁🕺🏼
Reminder: the food we put in our bodies doesn’t JUST affect our physical appearance.
Performance, energy, confidence, & happiness all improve when we eat heathy, nutritious foods.
Eat good, feel good, period.🙌🏼
I’m prepped & ready to FUEL my body and goals this week. ARE YOU WITH ME?🙋🏼♀️🏆
Not over trying to be a Victoria’s Secret model but I do have 6 pack abs as one of my #fitnessgoals
Age 35, birthed 5 babies and never had a 6 pack in my life, hey I’ll never know if I don’t try!💙 ...
Did you know it’s very unrealistic for most people to have body fat percentages low enough to actually see the abs? And did you know our abs are covered by not only 2 but 3 layers of fat?! Did you also know that women naturally hold onto more body fat then men do? Smh.😏
Don’t be bummed though because if you’re like me, and defined abs are a fitness goal of yours too, there most certainly are many things you can start doing right now to strengthen your core and reduce overall body fat:
•Workout consistently 30-60mins a day, up to 6x a wk. Focus on cardio + strength training to keep your heart rate up while building metabolism-boosting muscle.💪
•Build muscle. The more muscle you put on, the more fat you burn at rest! #winning
•Chill out. Unmanaged stress and lack of sleep can cause your body to release cortisol, a stress hormone that deserves a whole other post of its own! 😬
•Nutrition. Nutrition. Nutrition. The way you fuel your body plays just as important of a role in ab definition as exercise does, if not more!!!
•Do not follow a restricted diet. Eat from all the food groups. Eat carbs. Eat protein. •Know your triggers🍬🍫🍦🍩🍪
•Follow a program.👌
•Seek support.♥️ ...
Your future is created by what you do today, not tomorrow.
Who else is out there trying to get some abs? Holla!!🥳 Leave a comment ladies, you are not alone!

Monday truth 💣 comin’ atcha💥
Are you tired of starting over again and again?
Then stop QUITTING.
If you don’t keep giving up and quitting, you won’t have to keep starting over.
Stop falling off mid week and telling yourself you have to wait until the next Monday to start over.
Stop thinking that one bad “unhealthy” meal is ruining your whole week’s worth of progress so you quit trying for the rest of the week.
Stop thinking that you’re too “busy” to get your workout done today so you wait until tomorrow.
Stop waiting for the “perfect” time to start making changes in your life, because in all honesty there is NO perfect time.
Stop making EXCUSES. Period.
Believe me, I’m guilty of this as well.
I find myself making excuses in my mind all the time still. But what’s the difference? I don’t let those thoughts change my actions.
If something is that important to you, you WILL make time and stop making those excuses.
This is how you teach yourself discipline.
Stop making excuses, and just DO it. Get it done. 👏🏼 Set yourself up for success and kill it this week!

There isn’t any supplement to replace hard work.
But the next best thing is @1stphorm Phormula-1 and Ignition! 🔥🔥🔥
Ignition replenishes your stored intramuscular sugars after a workout.
Phormula-1 is ultra-clean, low temperature processed, predigested protein isolate for rapid assimilation, or rapid use in muscle protein synthesis.
Following a workout, your body tries to replace the used sugars that your muscles store. Your body often creates this sugar from the protein that you intake, through glycogenesis. Adding a clean, simple sugar, such as Ignition to your protein shake allows your body to utilize fully each of your supplements for muscle repair and growth. 💪🏻💪🏻

I discovered a lot about health & myself in between 22 & 25 years old.
When I took that picture on the left, I was finally feeling good about myself again after battling an eating disorder, quitting my college track team & being in a toxic, manipulative relationship.
I was a senior, heading into my final term. I was about to graduate with a degree in advertising & I had every intention of starting my career at an agency that Fall.
I took that picture because I was proud of who I was becoming. I LOVED working out again, I was in a great relationship & I felt a new sense of purpose. Through my own experiences, I realized that I wanted to help others overcome their weaknesses & love themselves again!
That was when my life suddenly took on a new path.
Little did I know then that just 8 months later I would start my own online fitness business. I still graduated & went on to work a corporate gig. But less than 10 months later, I quit & pursued my passion full time.
When I am feeling unmotivated or stuck, I look back at my 22 year old self & realize how far she has come. I am so freaking proud of her. I’m even more proud of the person I am yet to become.
When you feel like you’re not moving forward, it’s okay to look back & see the progress you have actually made. Don’t look to my journey for motivation, look to your own.
No matter where you are in your journey, I hope you take pride in how much you have accomplished. Remember all the obstacles you’ve overcome. All the early mornings you got out of bed no matter how hard it was. All the nights you chose to stay in. All the moments you wanted to give up, but didn’t.
Most importantly, I hope you know that you are capable of anything you set your mind to and never EVER stop chasing the best version of yourself.
If not now, then when?
If not me, then who?

I haven’t given up yet guys. EL OH EL.
Here’s a throw back of the oh so beautiful Rocky Mountains kind of, and the oh so fugly, yours truly.
I’ve been working on not being on my phone so much. That being said, it might pull me out of the fight, but that’s ok, I want to be an inspiration, not an influencer anyway. Not saying that negatively towards influencers at all.
Today I went to a gym on a week free trial thing, (worked on back, biceps, and rear delts.) I was trying to drag a friend along, because the thought of stepping into the gym alone with no one I knew was eating at me so much that I almost didn’t go, so I had to mentally fight myself...the only person that you need to “drag” to the gym is YO DAMN SELF... and I did just that and I might’ve went a little too hard in the paint but at least I showed up and paid 👏that 👏rent 👏nawmean?

Be someone that’s always willing to lend a hand.
Do it willingly, and without expecting anything in return.
Be the person that someone turns to first.
Knowing that they can count on you to come through.
Be the light in someone’s dark world.
Sometimes your smile can be exactly what someone needs.
The more value you can add to someone else’s life the more value you add to yours.
My goal as of late has been becoming more valuable...
To my family, my friends, strangers, and honestly anyone that just needs a little help.
Do you drink enough water daily? Do you know how much water your body needs daily?
The adult human body is made up of 60 % water, and our blood is 90 % water.
Water is essential for the kidneys and other bodily functions.
When dehydrated, the skin can become more vulnerable to skin disorders and wrinkling.
Here are 6 evidence-based health benefits of drinking plenty of water.
1. Water Helps to Maximize Physical Performance.
2. Hydration Has a Major Effect on Energy Levels and Brain Function
3. Drinking Water May Help to Prevent and Treat Headaches
4. Drinking More Water May Help Relieve Constipation
5. Drinking Water May Help Treat Kidney Stones
6 Drinking More Water Can Help With Weight Loss
I drink at least 120 oz of water everyday. I definitely notice a difference when I'm getting enough water a day and when I'm not.
Meet Melo everyone!! Melo is a green sea turtle that was attacked by a shark. Sea turtles are very tactile, and love having their carapace scratched! In the wild they like to use ledges and rocks to rub on and of course have little fish friends nibbling the algae off them. Since Melo has a lot of injuries on the carapace, it’s especially itchy. He (we think) is healing really well and can absolutely live a normal turtley life with only one flipper. We can’t wait to get him back into the wild where he belongs!

We will Never always look 100% on point.
Especially when we're.. living!
Here, for example, me.
If I cared about my best side every second of every day.. I'd be a statue and I'd be miserable.
Believe me, I want to always look my best, but having fun and enjoying life.. that's extremely important to me.
So, if my butt looks funny for a minute every time I dance.. so be it!
My point is,
You should also enjoy life, without worrying what way you should be standing.
Do you, boo!
You're beautifully phabulous 💜
Too many Cheerleaders not enough doers.

Are you going to let it stop you or reach the top even when your tired, exhausted, .
Keep going because your so close to that blessing put the hard work to make it to the top #iam1stphorm#1stphorm#legionofboom#1stphormathletesearch#bethe1#wedothework#duespaid
So as you’ve probably guessed, ya girl loves her caffeine! ☕️🤍 During a cut however, it’s important to make sure that you’re not adding too many empty calories into your diet (ie creamers and sugar in your coffee). •
While cleaning up my diet and limiting caffeine intake during a cut, I still enjoy 1-2 cups of black coffee each day 💕 •
Here’s what I like to add to my coffee to enjoy it even more: •
🤍 Stevia 🤍 Cinnamon 🤍 Coconut oil (not during prep though 🥰) What are your healthy coffee choices?? ☕️ 🤍
Building success through failure. I think we did 250-300 push ups tonight due to people quiting early. You quit early you pay the price and the whole team suffers, but we will get better because of it. Because the alternative isn't an option. (Side note the GPS gets funky when inside buildings) •

I’ve been really happy lately and it’s because I’ve been focusing on getting shit done and doing the small things that help my mental health drastically.
It’s easy to get “too busy” and put these kind of things on the back burner, I get it.
However every time I put myself and my health (mental & physical) last I feel it. I feel every ounce of it. Everything becomes more difficult.
Do the things that make you happy.
Do the things that make you feel accomplished.
Do the things you maybe don’t want to do but know you should.
That will get you closer to what you want in life.
Do the damn work.
Every. Damn. Day.
Happy Monday! Get after it fam. New week. Same grind. Let’s go!
