Bombo Quarry 🔥💦
It was incredible to finally get to this unique place as it had been on my list for years! It is like you are on another planet. These unusual basalt columns that line the Bombo Quarry Headland made for and impressive scene to walk into at sunrise. It was absolutely lit! .

This wombat is wasting no time lapping up some extra Zs! 😴 With the end of Daylight Savings, who else enjoyed their extra hour’s sleep in this morning? 📸 @jindy_inn
I had never seen such calm water. It was like a mirror reflecting everything. Until these guys came steaming past and reminded me there was actually a river there.
I’m sure there is room for some quote about smooth waters ahead and leaving all the rough stuff behind but I won’t ;) you get the message

Trying to keep occupied during this time...small peacock feathers scanned then edited
All photos, photos used in quotes & photo edits have been taken by me.
I will never take for granted
A crowded line up, surfing with your best friends,
A powerful sunrise that takes your breath away.
Sand between your feet, walking barefoot by the sea,
The smell of your favorite coffee after a bad night of sleep.
A warm hug, holding someone´s hand,
the smile of a stranger passing by your side.
Midnight rides, singing out loud,
dancing until the sun rises.
Eating outside, laughing until you cry,
long deep conversations wondering about life.
I will never take for granted
moments where time isn´t passing by,
where we are truly alive.
About time 🕰 :: As daylight savings comes to an end for another year, it only seems appropriate to consider time!
Since we first opened our doors we’ve had a small selection of wall clocks to help you keep time. Brands including Leni and Newgate, these time pieces are available in various sizes, with bold numbers and colours - to complement any decor. They make the perfect accompaniments for the kitchen or home office!
At a time when time seems to be standing still, and we are advised not to cross the border, we are now one again - even if it is only in ‘time’. We look forward to the time when we can welcome everyone back - restriction free.
📌Like what you see but not venturing out? Save this post for a time when ‘popping down to the shops’ is the new norm!
❌ RESTRICTIONS:: Remember if you do venture out for supplies, please abide by our store restrictions that are in place to protect you, other customers and our team. These are clearly displayed at the entrance.

We’ve certainly hit the cooler weather, and we don’t know about you, but we love a bit of BBQ when the temperature drops! Call us to put your takeaway or curbside pick up orders in for BBQ, burgers or seafood paella. We have limited delivery options today, so please check when you call. 🍷
Our Sunday special is seafood paella - $20 for one serve or $35 for two serves, and we’re selling bottles of @lakegeorgewinery Tempranillo, which as a perfect paella match for $27 each. Love our local wines at Norton Road ❤️ #nortonroadwines#biggiesbbq#canberrawines#paella#tempranillo
It won't be long when I see you again. I miss the view and the beauty like everyone else, hanging on there, it will be soon over.

A new edit of a photo I took in October last year.
I always had a B&W view in mind when I took this shot but never found the right recipe for it, until now. I find B&W editing a lot more challenging and time consuming than colour as every detail is visible, but also a lot more pleasing and rewarding when things fall into place nicely in the end.
I am definitely not a patient person but now that we can't really go out shooting anymore it is a good time for me to learn new techniques and focus on these long and difficult edits.....100 and a bit layers later, this is the result 🙂

Nice to spend plenty of time with family I don’t get to see to often while still taking in a few views here and there!
This is a shot I got recently and I’m working on a video of how I edited it and hope to post that tomorrow so stay tuned 👀

So yesterday on my bushwalk I found this fabulous all red mushroom. I've never seen one of those before and it's definitely not a toadstool, which only grow unser pine trees. But it looks great. Any of you Aussis know what it is? Please let me know.
Btw can you see the trees reflected in the rain drops that gathered on its edge?
