Latest blog post link in bio: Liberate Yourself From Anxiety And Fear By Using This 3-Step Techniques
1️⃣ Realize what your weaknesses and fears are
2️⃣ Come to terms with them
3️⃣ Embrace them wholeheartedly
Some might say, "well, why to embrace them rather than fight them off?"
Because: weaknesses and fears are NORMAL. We are meant to have them. Our role is to learn how to use them to propel us forward.
We will never be %1000 fearless and I would hope not. I don't want you jumping out of a plane thousands of feet in the air or reaching for a hot stove without first thinking it through really well. I don't want you making a decision that will determine your future without being really sure it's right for you.
Having that bit of anxiety is healthy. It's using it to our advantage that is the trick and the goal here.
1. Realizing and understanding what your fears are, is itself extremely liberating. Define what exactly it is that makes you nervous, holds back from doing what needs to be done and from fulfilling your dreams, and makes you want to perhaps even change your entire direction in life. There was a time when I felt so overwhelmed with my dreams and the things I would have to do to achieve them (put myself out there, risk rejection and negative feedback, etc) that I thought that perhaps it wasn't worth it and I should start looking for something easier.
NOOOO. I quickly came to the realization that I'd rather risk embarrassment doing what I dream of than staying in a safe haven (which isn't really all that safe because that turns into disappointment and resentment) and holding back from my true mission.
Make it very clear and understandable for yourself what these things are.
Write them down.
When starting something, go over this list.
Which leads me to point two.
Read the rest on the blog!
Believe in yourself have faith in your abilities
Wish you happy #MakarSankranti

I just went through the used car buying process for the second time in 2 years...here are some must see tips! I purchased a certified preowned Lexus RX 350.
1. Do your research and know the comps in your area. I was initially able to get the price down by $1800 by showing my sales person a car with the same mileage and features at another dealership through the True Car website.
2. Timing is everything. The finance manager told me that if it wasn't the last day of the month of the second quarter they wouldn't have been able to give me the additional $800 off that I requested. Most dealerships have quarterly and yearly goals so start looking a few days before the end of the quarter / year. Also a lot of leases are turned in in December and January. More stock increases your ability to negotiate.
3. Don't be afraid to walk away. I called my sales person and told him that I was going to purchase another car at a different dealership in the morning if they couldn't agree to my price. He tried to tell me there was a lot of interest in my car and that there was no way they could go lower. I thank him for his time. He called back the next morning and agreed to the price.
4. If your sales person tells you ‘There’s a lot of interest in the car’ asked them if there’s anyone else on the lot currently looking at it. Any car sales person knows that if you walk off the lot without buying, you are probably going to buy somewhere else. Don’t fall for the ‘Jones’ sales tactic.
5. Go to multiple dealerships and get your sales persons number. I was able to use quotes through text messages from each dealership to work the price down more.
6. Asked for the MSRP sheets when comparing different vehicles that are the same make and model. This makes it very easy to compare features and assess value.
7. Go in with financing. I secured a great rate with USAA. The dealership wanted me to use their financing. I knew they most likely couldn't beat or match my rate. So I got them to agree to take the difference in interest off the price of the car before they ran my credit. This saved me another $350 and I can refinance through my bank still and get the low
Funny thing about perspectives @Madz_Grant. I came away thinking what God awful people you and @LozzaFox are - aside the fun and quirky use of Zs in your Twitter names. Personally, I feel much more energetic when I wake ⏰ up early
for some people, this might not be the case
but there are lots of advantages of waking up early,
for example, you’re always starting sooner than others, get to enjoy more sun☀️, etc

Clearing out the fridge every week before I went to the grocery store was a principle I adopted to prevent excess food waste! Too many times in my 20s, I would buy food and forget about it in the back of my fridge. And months later, I would find it spoiled!😩⠀
By adopting this principle, it ensured I only spent money on food I was going to eat that week, leaving more money in my pocket. 💰⠀
It’s also nice to be able to find what you’re looking for so easily in your fridge! 🤣⠀
Who else can see the back of their fridge? 🤷♂️😆👇

5 Tips to avoid impulse purchases
1. Avoid shopping while exhausted.
This cannot be avoid at all times. #life#motherhood#newborn However, if you can it will really help! When I'm tired and I go shopping my attention is very diffuse and so it's easier to make a purchase without really asking myself if I actually need it.
2. Make a list! Make a list! Make a list! I cannot say this enough!! Even if I only need 2 things I need, I still make a list on my phone. It holds me accountable in a way. And a good rule I like to follow is that if I didn't need it until I saw it....... then 9 times out 10 I don't actually need it! 😂
3. Don't browse up and down every isle
Especially when you're tired and don't have a list 🤣🤣 it's just a recipe for a whole lot of random purchases. I try really hard to only go to the areas where the items on my list are located in the the store.
4. Use cash
Now this may not be for everyone but just try it if you haven't. There's something so tangible about using cash. It forces my brain to actually consider very carefully before putting something in my cart. When I use my debit or credit card it's a lot easier to just add one more thing without my brain actually registering the impact of that last minute decision.
5. Use a calculator while shopping.
This may seem silly but it has helped me so much to cut down on over spending and impulse purchases. The act of adding each item on my phone calculator and seeing the total increase helps me to keep myself in check.
Learning to cook was probably the easiest way for me to save money in my 20s. Instead of going out to eat everyday, I learned to bring lunch during the week and eat out on the weekends. ⠀⠀
I found dishes I really enjoyed, perfected the recipes and usually, they tasted better than the options we had at the office. 🤩⠀⠀
It wasn’t easy, but learning how to cook and meal prepping provided me a way to save a lot of money and learn an invaluable skill. ⠀⠀
Some of my favorite dishes to cook were chinese stir-frys w/ beef or pork, Taiwanese 3 cup chicken, grilled meats 🥩w/ veggies and healthy salad bowls 🥗. I highly recommend IKEA containers to help you bring your lunch。⠀
What are your favorite foods to cook? 👩🍳 👨🍳👇

Time stressors are some of the most pervasive sources of pressure in the workplace, and they happen as a result of having too much to do, in too little time. .
I use this Urgent/Important Principle to think about priorities and determine which of my activities are important and which are, essentially, distractions. .

Happy #NationalPopcornDay! 🍿
Aside from being super tasty, there are so many things to love about one of my favorite snacks! Popcorn is a whole grain, meaning that it's a great source of dietary fiber. It's also naturally gluten free, fat free, sugar free, and low in calories (31 calories for 1 cup air popped) - a dieter's dream. 😍 Ounce for ounce, popcorn even has more protein and phosphorus than potato chips!
You can easily make your own homemade popcorn in the microwave that's much healthier than the pre-buttered microwave bags. Here's how:
🌽 Pour 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels into a large, microwave-safe bowl.
🌽 Grab a microwave-safe plate and place it over the top of the bowl.
🌽 Transfer the bowl and plate to your microwave, and cook for 2 minutes and 45 seconds.
NOTE: the first time I tried this, I only managed to pop ONE kernel of popcorn because the plate I chose didn’t sit snugly over the top of the bowl (all the steam escaped before it could cook the kernels)! Test out a few bowl/plate combos to make sure the plate forms a good seal over the bowl! Also, if you end up with any unpopped kernels in the bottom of the bowl, just hang on to them until the next time you make popcorn.
Have fun celebrating popcorn today! 🎉 I like to season mine with chili powder and garlic salt, or sometimes butter, sugar, and cinnamon if I want a sweet treat. 😋
What's your favorite way to dress up popcorn?
Car Tip! ⚙️ If your vehicle is stuck in snow or mud, the first thing you have to do is gently rock the car to try to free it. However, if the situation is bad then you must stop. Constantly moving your car from forward to reverse will generate lots of heat, which is dangerous for the vehicle. It would be advisable and more cost efficient to call a tow truck. 🚜⠀
Tip: Have the food you need to be eating readily available and prepped ready to go. ⠀⠀
This has helped me sooo much as I’ve had to make some adjustments to my diet the past 6 months. There’s nothing worse than eliminating foods you love and then feeling like “there’s nothing you can eat”.
Doing what I can do to set myself up for success and help create really good habits is KEY for me! I’ll be sharing more tips like this tomorrow night...check out the link in my profile for more info. I would love to have you there!
Backlash inevitable but not positive. @Madz_Grant or @LozzaFox would no doubt opine that we should be able to hand out bananas at football matches as a healthy alternative to the half time pie. It's just fruit, right? #Woke#bbcqt https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2020/01/17/laurence-fox-question-time-perfectly-captured-backlash-against/?WT.mc_id=tmg_share_tw …
As assistants we engage with people on all sides of the emotional spectrum. Sometimes way on the negative side and occasionally bordering on out right nasty.
When I was the Executive assistant to the CEO of Sephora, occasionally a very distraught customer would make it through to my line.
I had to learn quickly that being on auto pilot wasn’t an option. I needed to be able to provide thoughtful responses that honored their frustrations while simultaneously placing their grievances in the appropriate context.
This wasn’t always easy, it required intentional patience and genuine empathy (even when it “just about lipstick”... it was never really about lipstick)
🛑Take time to pause. Emotions aren’t static they come and go, so whatever your initial response is to something it could change moments later. Don’t let yourself become defined by your emotional state.
⁉️Ask questions. Questions are a great way to fill the space between emotional statements and your initial emotional response. They also help to drive toward clarity which is crucial to achieve any real resolution.
Whether it’s a client or a boss who says something in frustration focus on responding not reacting. You’ll find yourself impressing everyone you communicate with.
What are some of your tips for responding in sticky situations.

In my early 20s, I didn’t spend much time outdoors. I was usually watching TV, playing video games, or hanging out at a friends out. It wasn’t until my mid 20s that I found my joy in the outdoors!⠀
Hiking is usually free or very inexpensive (just the entrance fees) and it can provide you a connection with nature and those around you. It’s great to spend hours out with friends, exploring the different parks, famous trails, historic sights etc.⠀
The views are many times rewarding and provide a great way to get away from our regular lives.⠀
Some of my favorite hikes (in the DC area) include the Billy Goat Trail @greatfallsparkvanps , White Oak Canyon @shenandoahnps, and Roosevelt Island.⠀
My favorite National Parks I’ve visited are: Zion National Park (@zionnps), Acadia National Park, the Grand Canyon and Mount Rainier National Park!⠀

Attention‼️ to all of my makeup and beauty 💄 junkies!
If you’re storing your skincare products and cosmetics on your bathroom counter… you’re doing it wrong! ❌
While you may make the argument that it’s the most convenient, easily accessible place for them, most skincare products and cosmetics last the longest when they’re stored somewhere cool, dark, and dry. So you can see when storing beauty products on your warm, brightly lit, and humid bathroom counter might be a problem!
Here’s a quick rundown of how improper storage conditions can affect your beauty products:
☀️ Sunscreens & Products With SPF – Heat can cause separation.
🤡 Pigmented Powders (Eyeshadow, Blush, Etc.) – Heat can cause pigments to fade.
💦 Liquid Foundation – Heat can shorten their shelf-life.
💅 Nail Polish – Heat can cause separation.
🌸 Fragrances – Exposure to sunlight can alter delicate scents.
👩🎨 Makeup Brushes – Exposed to moisture and bacteria when stored out in the open.
Instead, keep your beauty products tucked away in a drawer or cabinet when you’re not actively using them. It’ll only cost you a few seconds to grab them, and may end up saving you a small fortune 💰 in spoiled supplies!
Have you ever lost a beauty or skin care product to improper storage? Tell us your tragic story 😢 in the comments below, so we all know to how avoid the mistake!
𝟺 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝟷 𝘞𝘦𝘦𝘬 !
I travel, not to escape life, but for life to not escape me
I cannot believe a year ago today I was so lost!
I honestly can only describe it to be, what I think, like a ‘mid life crisis’ might feel like. I know that’s probably not the greatest analogy, but it’s the easiest way to explain 😊
I was in a transition from where I was, to where I am now, to where I want to be. As I mentioned in the last post, questioning everything !
I’ve never felt how I do when I’m travelling.
Changing my life completely!
So I decided I’m going travelling full time! Why not :D ‘Feel the fear’
The opportunity I’ve been given to make my dream, my INSANE dream, a reality.
And I’m superrrrr excited to say tomorrow I’ll be sharing a way you can learn about this opportunity too!! And achieve AMAZING results
Especially if you’re already travelling and working online! An even better opportunity for you to take your life to the absolute 𝐌 𝐀 𝐗 !
Travelling and seeing the world is my dream.. Whats yours?
If you click the link in my bio you can follow my travels too!! Check out the link for 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝗪𝐞𝐛𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 & 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐠. Which you can follow and subscribe too FREE.
𝘕𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯...
Thought I’d take a minute so stop right there..
I’ll tell you how I got here, in a place called the world !
Ok I’m out of lyrics.. so onto my story and everything I’ve been sharing with you.
So about a year ago now I had a bit of a breakdown. Life kinda got on top of me, working in IT, training and implementation, I started questioning everything. Why this, why that... what’s the point etc.
With a few different tools, techniques, conversations and getting myself back to a logical mind.... I decided I need to do what I’ve always wanted to.
My dream !!
Traveling and seeing the world. The cultures, the adventures the journey you go on just being out there.
In my head the world doesn’t end in IT Hertfordshire or even the UK
There is so so much more to life.
So I spoke to my friends, family and my boss. Turns out everyone also thinks it’s the best idea and supports me !
So I took the leap, I’ve moved to save costs, I’ve handed in my notice at work and started super saving.
But... then I started thinking, about well the journey is going to end. A year after (or when I run out of money) I’ll be coming back !
So what does that achieve ?
I get to live the best version of my life for a year ?
I get to experience the world for as long as my savings last ?
And then I come home to continue the life I have now ?
Well that’s not my dream 😂
So I started asking people how they do it, how do you travel, and kept getting the same response. I travel for 6 months, come home to save for a year then travel again for 6 months.
Well, I’m sorry, that is just not what I want to do.
So I kept asking, and messaging random people on Instagram ! F I N A L L Y !!
Came across @harriethrose Instagram! This lady has now allowed me to see into my future ! Before I could see 12 months away....
But now ! I see my dreams, my goals and everything I want in life coming to me !
None of these words or any words can describe how THANKFUL am and EXCITED.
So since talking and meeting Harriet - continue in the comments...

How are you going to die? Unique like you were born? Or a copy?⠀
Most people are afraid to find and pursue their purpose. Instead, they go with the flow and do what everyone else is doing.⠀
Be brave, get out of your comfort zone and do what you know you are supposed to do.

Mistakes are probably the best things we can do in life...
By making a mistake... you must have made a decision ?
By making a decision... you did something !
Far to many of us put things off, I’ll do it later or I’ll do it tomorrow.
But later becomes tomorrow becomes the weekend then becomes never.
By making a decision and making a mistake, you can learn. Learn from that decision, build your knowledge and F A I L!
At least you’re doing something... mistakes will lead you to your success, do it N O W. Not tomorrow, and learn from it, build it, do it better the next time.
Better now than not at all.
There is a lesson to be learnt within every decision we make.
Thoughts create feelings create action...
Learn the lesson ready for the next action.
“I’m not jealous, I’m upset!” We have all said that! But what are we really saying?
Jealousy is the idea that you want a feeling or behavior directed to you rather than another person. If this is happening or has happened in your relationship life, does the person know you are interested in pursuing them?
Often times we date with emotional walls. As much as we feel we are open to the dating world and desire a relationship, we may have our emotional walls blocking us from connection. The other person can feel this distance. This wall will send messages to them and encourage them to keep this emotional distance.
Jealousy is not a negative emotion. Do not push it away. Do not cover it up with another emotion. Learn what your jealousy is made of and what messages it is sending to you.
Keep saving & keep INVESTING 🙂💯
Build your asset column & reduce liabilities 😉🏠
Create a collection of assets that pay for your monthly expenses 🏘
Then break the time for money trade (if you want to)! ⏰💰
"Time is money"... or really it should be "Time is time" and you should be able to do whatever you want with it. 😀
To experience this beautiful "freedom" you have to create money trees (income systems) that allow you to LEVERAGE your time. ⏳
There is a world of knowledge out there to do so, the question is... will you break the time for money trade? 😊
