Thoughts on lighting here?!🤔
Can’t believe we never posted this before but it’s a similar shot from the photo posted last week and since y’all thought the landscape is much better we’re sharing a similar view as Jasper & Louie are standing in front of the sunrise at Lake Louise a couple years ago before we moved! Comment below if you want to see the original shot via stories taken at 5AM with limited lighting and no flash!

For Ella Simkins (@ella_ess_), fantasy is always at her fingertips. “I turn the creatures of my imagination into fantasy art on my hands,” says the special effects and makeup artist, who incorporates extreme customized nails, claws and gems into her transformative looks.
“I like to think of it as dipping my arm into another world and seeing what sticks! It can be painstaking and uncomfortable for the body, but it’s a quiet, meditative time for my mind. I work hard on the looks and challenge myself, but I don’t take it too seriously. It’s meant to be escapist fun.” #ThisWeekOnInstagram

I know we see this a lot on social media, so forgive me for beating a dead horse... but I’m giving all of us (more so myself) a reminder that it’s ok to not be ok. Whether it’s not feeling motivated, or feeling sad, scared, mopey, depressed - all the things.
With everything going on in the world, the added stress of feeling bad about not quite feeling like yourself is just adding insult to injury. And it’s not helpful.
Find joy in the little things. Pat yourself on the back for the little things. And give yourself permission to leave it at that. For now.
Is there something you’ve changed or a new habit you’re adopting during this time at home that you’re really enjoying? For me, I’ve started waking up at 6am naturally (no alarm clock) and the first thing I do is make my bed and drink a glass of water. ::patting myself on the back:: What about you? 🤗
I don’t know what brought me more joy today: seeing the pugs in bananas or seeing bananas on the shelf at my local grocery shop in the first place 😂🍌🍌 For more canine delights check out @dogs_infood Hilarious! #quarantineart
Урок последних двух недель: чтобы увидеть собак в бананах нужно сначала увидеть бананы на полках магазина 😅 #креативнакарантине

A year ago on the Bolivian salt flats...Right side up or upside down? 🤔
1 hour ago
I tried making these rolls a few times! I tried with a few substitutes but ended up with this recipe which turned out so fluffy and just like the mall cinnamon buns! How is day 16579 of quarantine going?? How are things going where you live?!.
Stay healthy 💕🙏.
3 cups of flour
1 cup of warm almond milk
4 T of vegan butter
A dash of salt, cinnamon
3 T of sugar, whatever you prefer.
2 1/4 tsp of yeast.
1 T of cinnamon powder.
2 T of cocao powder.
1/4 of dairy free chocolate (melted). 3 T of vegan butter.
4 T of sugar.
I added the milk to the yeast and stirred in the sugar. While I let that sit, I gathered my dry ingredients into a big bowl. I added the warm yeast mixture to the dry ingredients in the bowl. I attached a paddle attachment to my mixer and I let dropped the dough into the bowl. Let it mix for a few minutes until a dough ball forms. Transfer to a well greased bowl.
Let it rise in the sun, covered. Or in a warm place for an hour. Meanwhile combine all the cinnamon mixture in a small bowl. .
Transfer dough onto a lightly floured counter. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread mixture from edge to edge. Roll starting from the long edge tightly. Cut with a serrated knife. Arrange in your dish an inch away from one another and let it rise for an hour. Stick it into a preheated oven at 350F for 18-20 mins. .
2 cups of icing sugar.
4 T of vegan butter or almond milk.
Mix with a hand blender for a few minutes.
Thickness of glaze is preference. I like it thicker and creamier and some prefer a thin coat 🥰. Enjoy!
I miss the sun.
Miss kaba ng sun? Hahaha

Here's my submission for the @skuttwheels competition! When I saw that they were putting on a competition I got incredibly excited, as I have always wanted to participate at their #nceca competitions but I've never had the opportunity to go. So, I sat down and started thinking of something special I could make and after some thought this idea came to mind. I sketched it down and was entranced. I had never made a hollow donut before, so this piece was a great challenge and I am INCREDIBLY excited with how it turned out. I really couldn't decide whether I wanted a handle on it or not, as the donut worked well for holding it and made for a unique experience, however the handle just looked so good. I don't normally spend so much time on a single piece, however it was so fun combing throwing and sculpting with this one!

Self-described “shape-shifter” Mac Do (@gdragons_caviar) loves to play dress up. “I identify as nonbinary, so my makeup is definitely a tool I use to express that. But instead of waking up and deciding if I’m masc[uline] or femme or both or neither, I’m usually deciding if I’m a mage, a demon or a cybernetic elf that day,” says the Sino-Vietnamese artist.
“I do wear my looks out and sometimes I get really anxious about it, but I do it because it’s what makes me feel the most me.” #ThisWeekOnInstagram

With only two years of industry experience, hairdresser Alejandro Lopez (@artistic.aestheticss) is already making waves with his intricate designs, like these dreamcatcher braids. These days, the 20-year-old often uses wigs for his more detailed and complex creations. “It really lets me be as creative as I please without having to worry about time or having to stick with what someone else is wanting. I get complete freedom!” he says. #ThisWeekOnInstagram
