My story (inspired or asked for my @amandascarborough): I actually quit softball after 1 season in 1st grade. Two leagues had split and we had 1st-5th graders playing together, and it was kids pitch. #nothanks
When I was 10, I wanted a change from soccer and my dad suggested I try softball again. We signed me up for Bear Creek Little League. Being left handed and inexperienced, I was ‘playing’ outfield. Due to rain outs and pitching rules, our pitchers had used up their innings. Our coach asked who wanted to pitch... I volunteered, and I struck someone out. I asked my dad for pitching lessons for my 11th birthday and he granted it! The rest (with a lot of hard work and failure mixed in) is history!
I love our game, but I love working to perfect the art of pitching more. Pitching is what I truly fell in love with ❤️ What got you started? What do you love about it? #pitching#mystory#beginnings#softballpitcher#teamusa
Well we got off to a slow start in the Stroke Play format going down 11.5- 16.5. Then we kicked it into gear in the Match play format leading us to a 31-21 victory. It’s always such a great experience to get the team atmosphere and camaraderie that we don’t normally get in this sport. It’s a great day for Team USA Disc Golf. Good job to the entire team for keeping the streak alive. 🇺🇸
Thank you, Team USA, for being wonderful people and terrific athletes. If it weren't for you all being a pleasure to work with, I would never have been able to experience all of this strange and wonderful food from France.
And big thanks to @usaclimbing for bringing me back for another year of coaching the Para team. We brought 7 athletes to finals, more than ever, and 4 of them earned some hardware! We had heartbreak and we had triumphs, but none of that matters now as I have to go eat the rest of the baguettes in France. Au revoir!

Did you know that one of our students is going to be representing Team USA at the World Cadet Championships in Uzbekistan this year?! We’re so proud of Angelina for making it to #1 in the United States. We’re hosting a fundraising party to help her raise money to go to World Championships on July 27th. Right now, she’s training in Mexico to help her prepare. Let us know if you’d like to donate to her GoFundMe or help with fundraising!
