Because of his two Olympic #gold medals, six NBA #championships and five #MVP awards, you might not think of Michael Jordan as a failure. But he once was, and it was that failure that made him the success we see today.
Jordan was born in #New York, though his #family soon moved to North Carolina. He was the fourth of five children and was in constant competition with his two older brothers, particularly Larry, whom everyone saw as the athlete in the family. So good were Larry’s skills that #coaches thought Michael would only ever be known as Larry’s brother.
In fact, it was because of Larry that a basketball coach invited Michael to a basketball camp just before he started high school. #Basketball was all Michael had ever wanted to play, but at only 182 cm tall, he was seen as too short to be on the team. Though he did well at the #summer camp, when the school team was posted in fall, Michael’s #name was not on the list.
And that’s where #perseverance came in. Rather than giving up, Jordan took some advice from his mother and set out to prove that the coach had made a #mistake. He joined the junior varsity basketball team and began practicing constantly, going to school early in the #morning and staying late into the evening.
All that #practice paid off in the end, as #Michael became the #star of the junior varsity #team. By the end of that year, he’d grown ten centimeters and was more than able to hold his own on the regular basketball team. The rest is #history. After high school, #Jordan went on to play for UNC-Chapel Hill, the Chicago Bulls, and other #professional teams. But he only had the chance to do this because he #never gave up. If he’d #believed what his coach told him, Michael Jordan would be a guy whom none of us had heard of.

Every day I tell myself I will be a lion 🦁 amongst men. Some of the time, people mistake my qualities for their own insecurities. Other times, people send blessings and the doors of opportunity swing wide open. The point is, we become the vision of who we see in ourselves and what we speak to our soul. Our confidence must come from our True Nature, not our understanding of our social fit, our failures, or there interpretations. Much love to all my people staying true to themselves.
Inoltre queste aziende pensavamo prima al #who del #what.
Sembra completamente controintuitivo lo so.
