Taysom Hill is a full-time special teams player and you guys act like he’s the next Peyton Manning

Here’s how things are shaping up in New Orleans with @drewbrees back... @ts_hill made it clear earlier this month that he views himself as a franchise quarterback and if the Saints don’t see him the same way, he would have to leave. The team is looking to keep Hill along with Brees for the upcoming 2020 season which means they will likely let @teddyb_h2o hit the open market.
although taysom hill is a great gadget player, he is far from a franchise quarterback in my opinion. in his career, he’s 6/13 for 119 yards, 0 tds, and 1 int as a passer. on top of these below average stats, he’s 30 which is far from the ideal age for a franchise qb. people are drawing comparisons between him and lamar, but in my opinion they aren’t even close. lamar is undeniably the better runner/athlete, and I’d say he’s the better passer too. saints placed a first round tender on taysom meaning if someone offers him a deal in free agency the saints can either match it or let him walk for a first round pick. no team is going to give up the chance at a young star for a 30 year old taysom hill. not to mention, if a team is looking for a taysom hill type player, lynn bowden out of kentucky would be a great option in the draft. he’s only 22 and played qb/wr @ kentucky. teams will be able to get him for much cheaper than taysom, he’s younger, and has a much higher ceiling imo. thoughts ?
🚨 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐎𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝐎𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: 𝟏 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐤: 𝟐𝟒 *𝐉𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐫, 𝗪𝐑 (𝐓𝐂𝐔): In my latest mock I have Reagor slotted to the Saints at this pick. He’s electric, he’s versatile, and his skills would be a great compliment to the weapons the Saints already possess. *𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐐𝐁 (𝐔𝐭𝐚𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞): Now I get it, they currently have Brees, Bridgewater, and Taysom Hill on the roster. But Brees is apparently considering retirement, Teddy is a free agent, and Taysom Hill has made it clear he wants a bigger role as a franchise QB. Teddy is likely going to get paid starting QB money whether it be in New Orleans or elsewhere. Who knows what Sean Payton (or the rest of the league) actually thinks of Taysom Hill. And Brees could realistically still be on the roster with the addition of a new QB. I think Love would be an intriguing pick here, of course depending on how this offseason shakes out with their current QB room. * 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐲, 𝐋𝐁 (𝐎𝐤𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚): Murray is an exciting prospect at the linebacker spot. He’s 6’2, 234 lbs. and he’s extremely athletic. The Saints currently have Demario Davis coming off a great season, and not much else at the linebacker position. Adding Murray could greatly improve this unit and add speed to the overall defense. * 𝐙𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐁𝐚𝐮𝐧, 𝐋𝐁 (𝗪𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧): Baun makes sense for a lot of the same reasons Murray does. They could use linebacker help. He’s a senior from Wisco and also possesses some great versatility at the linebacker spot. This draft class isn’t as strong at linebacker as years past, so if you’re a team like the Saints in need, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them use their first pick to address it. -J

🚨QUAL O DESTINO?!🚨
I know times have changed but it’s funny how people around the NFL will talk about Taysom Hill being/playing QB in the NFL, but for decades black QBs never even were considered to play QB in the NFL because they “couldn’t throw”.. It’s almost laughable but I think we know why...

"Taysom Hill has a higher upside than Teddy Bridgwater"?, we need to immediately disinvite Max Kellerman from the cookout.

Sean Payton thinks Taysom Hill's new deal might be more troublesome than Drew Brees'.
Saints QB Taysom Hill is expected to leave the team in free agency following the news of Drew Brees’ plan to return to New Orleans this season.
Hill, 29, views himself as a franchise QB, and stated that if the Saints don’t view him as a franchise QB, he’ll sign with a team that does. In 2019, Hill played in all 16 games for New Orleans playing mostly QB, WR, and RB. He rushed the ball 27 times for 156 yards and 1 touchdown, caught 19 passes for 234 yards and 6 touchdowns, and also completed 3 passes for 55 yards.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, there are reports that Saints’ backup quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater is expected to have a strong market during free agency. He potentially could lead a multi-year deal that would pay him around $30 million per year. There are several interested teams. Thoughts?

Per Adam Schefter, Drew Brees will be returning to the Saints in 2020. A contract is still in the works but many felt Brees was considering retirement. That being said we ask you...
How many years do you think Drew Brees has left in him?
