We made it home! We got in around midnight last night and coming back to an empty house was just weird. Taylor’s mom brought the dogs home this morning and it’s safe to say that we missed them more than they missed us 😂 Anywho, I’ll be spending my afternoon rubbing dog bellies, washing 75 loads of laundry and doing some last minute Christmas shopping...there’s no place like home🏡💗

Boy do I love a tablescape and especially a holiday tablescape. Tablescapes are hands down one of my favorite things to create and take photos of. Why? First of all, I don’t have to leave my house. Second of all, I don’t have to leave my house. And third of all, I don’t have to do my hair or make-up (I hate getting ready). And finally, pants are optional. My husband, who thinks he’s funny, asked me if setting up a tablescape was the adult equivalent of a child having a tea party. Bingo, Mr. Chic(ish)! He pretty much hit the nail right on the head with that one – and I can’t help but laugh at myself. That is exactly what it’s like.
