@Snickers released a limited edition Pecan flavor a while ago, that was available online only in boxes of 15. Our order “shipped” (the label was created) but never moved anywhere, so customer support compensated us weeks later. 🙏🏾
These bars contain pecans, caramel and milk chocolate. The nougat that we’ve come to especially love about Snickers sets this bar below the other flavors, but it is still a solid choice. Reminds us of DeMet’s Turtles, but in Snickers form. 🐢🍫
🇯🇵 While we’re on the subject of Snickers, now’s a perfect time to showcase the Japanese realm of flavors which are still available on @NapaJapan. The top two are different variations of dark chocolate. The “Strong” bar tastes more bitter while the red one reminds us of Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews which we LOVE! The bar below the two darks is Crunchy Almond, which just tastes like a variant of Almond Snickers we have in the states, but not as good. We prefer solid chunks of almonds, not bits.

I'm going to talk today about the key to health. We all want to biohack our future. Live optimally for as long as possible. We can spend hours debating on proper diet. #Omnivore, #Carnivore, #Ketogenic, #Paleo#Primal#Mediterranean#Vegan etc. Honestly it's going to depend on your bio-individuality to a degree.
1st we should know most disease & illness is going to stem from inflammation and mitochondrial dysfunction. This inflammation comes from daily life all around us. Molds, chemicals, plastics, emfs from electronics, stress, artificial foods or quantity or quality of certain foods. Genetics are a switch basically activated by enviroment & lifestyle of how disease will likely present itself. Meaning is most later in life illneses, something like diabetes for instance, genetic? Or Did you live the same lifestyle as your predecessor? Truth, to be blatantly honest here, is the 2nd. .
So one can argue what's going to decrease inflammation food wise, but some core things proven by studies are the following, Excess #sugar#grains & any #plantoil use. Avoid processed plant oils as much as feasible. A few variables will depend on the person & possible food allergies #dairy and #nuts. Some food like Grains or #legumes (not optimal food choices but in moderation perhaps ok) & nuts need do be prepared properly by soaking & sprouting. #veggies may depend on person or current gut health & preparation as well but in high amounts I believe can wear on gut mucosa due to anti-nutrients just like #gluten .
But food is just a piece of the puzzle. We have our enviroment. We can't avoid every possible danger. I think that biohacking is key here for prevention, & prevention is more attainable easily, then curing disease. Embracing circadian rhythm & the sun, proper sleep, hydration, nutrient dense with quality fat diet, PEMF Mats, Grounding, Sauna, Redlight Therapy, Vibration plates/Exercise, EMF protection, Blue Blockers etc can lesson perhaps counter the load on our cells. .
The reason behind my post yesterday on mitochondria is to suggest that the body can heal its self in time with support. Prevention/Cures are really the same strategy for most all illness.
