Don't compare yourself with others as at the end of the day the only thing you're getting out of this is anxiety, pessimism and negative feelings.
Instead look up to them, analyze the steps they took to become who they are today and follow their journey while you stay on track with yours🙌🏻
I don't get those startup ads that are like
[cryptic statement expressing how cool the business is without saying what it does]

We often think that success happens overnight or in those big milestone moments but really what builds one’s character for success is by hustling everyday and choosing the right daily habits that brings them that step closer to success 🚀
Reaching our goals happens one small decision at a time with lots of hard work, determination, consistently and all other factors that achieving massive success requires 💪
What makes inspiring people stand out and succeed is not only their talent but how they never gave up on chasing their goals. Giving up is for the weak. It proves you never really wanted success, but rather the lifestyle it can provide.
When you have that crystal clear vision of what you want to become in this 🌍 and the lifestyle you want to live, giving up shouldn’t even spring to mind.
I understand great things can take time to bring your vision and goals to a reality, but like most areas in life especially on your journey to success, patience is power. Success is worth the wait, believe me... 💯 #MotivationalBoss

Which scientists? Literally no one can predict the outcome of Brexit. No one knows how it will play out. Multiple decisions yet to be made will affect the outcome.
So far, the evidence is promising for a good outcome. I feel as if you'd be devastated if we succeed?
I don’t think any other country interfered in the 2016 election. And I don’t think they are now either! If another country wanted to help someone win, it wouldn’t be somebody who has done so many great things for our country. They don’t want us to succeed. Give it a break Bernie
On the left, 2019 was a rough year for me. I lost my faith, my confidence, the love for football and most importantly the girl I fell in love with. Depression was destroying me and I was ashamed and afraid. But one day, I had enough and had the strength to go and get help. The guy I use to look at in the mirror, wasn’t me. Fast forward to now, on the right 2020. After therapy in the summer of 2019, I’ve gained my faith back, the love for football and my confidence. The only thing I’m missing, is her. But, I trust God and his timing. He has been nothing but perfect with it. Everything I’ve prayed for I’ve gotten it back at the time I needed. 2019 was a battle. Not only did I win the battle, I won the war. I prayed for God to help me, ever since I’ve been blessed. I thank God for the second he’s given me at life. I also thank my supporters on and off the field. Depression is not joke, so don’t take it likely. Get help ASAP. Want to be a better you. Never settle for nothing less than being great. Got puts us through the most toughest battles. Those battles we fight and win makes us who we are. Warriors. Never give up and don’t quit. Keep pushing. Keep fighting. You didn’t gain all your weight in one day; you won’t lose it in one day. Be patient with yourself. The groundwork of all happiness is health. You have to believe in yourself when no one else does — that makes you a winner right there. #Decide#Commit#Succeed

Wait you wont succeed. Now is the time for anything you believe in. LGBT rights, women's rights, minority rights, the right to vote easily, eliminating money from politics, etc... if you let this time pass and don't vote you won't live to see it.

If you want to #succeed and reach your #dreamlife you cannot stop trying! When you fail you need to look at the failure as a lesson, as stepping stone to something bigger💪🏼
Every single #entrepreneur go through failure but the #successful entrepreneur do not quit when things get hard, they shake it of and keep on going!
Growing up, I spent a lot time thinking about what I could have done better rather than recognizing my efforts and giving myself credit for what I have done.
I spent a lot of time trying to appease others. The opinions and judgements of others mattered to me so much that I found myself constantly reflecting on my words and actions, and altering myself to make everyone around me happy. I was at war with myself, and in that war, I left what was important behind - myself and my voice. Many of us face the same, and while some are able to shrug it off, some struggle with it.
Growing up, the environment I was in and the people I was surrounded by made it even more difficult to break out of my shell, because there was constant judgement. That judgement led to low self esteem, low self worth, and negativity seeped through my skin.
It took me several years to recognize how my environment impacted my relationship with others, and most importantly with myself.
It took me several years, in fact over a decade, to let go of what I was holding on to - toxic relationships that did not help me rise, but that made me scream for rescue inside my loud mind that seemed quiet on the outside.
I slowly accepted that I could not control what was beyond myself.
I slowly accepted that I could not change the narrative in someone else’s mind to alter their story about me.
I slowly learned that people’s thoughts about us are shaped by their own journey, experiences, fears, insecurities, and their own internal dialogue.
I slowly learned that that if someone wants you in their life, they will make every effort to listen and understand you with more love and less judgement. They will lean forward to see in you rather than past you.
I slowly learned that healthy relationships are never forced, one sided, and should never feel exhausting. That the best and healthiest relationships are those that are formed and cultivated with no resistance. It should simply flow, and what flows without force stays.
I slowly learned that the gap, the grey area, the distance, the growing apart, and the drifting away is the Universe’s way to make room for those we deserve in all the right ways.

Always happy to lose to a fellow inverternaus player :)
“Mom! MOOOOM!!! Hey, check out my stickers!!” 😂
I remember my friends telling me that this day would come: my child wanting to infiltrate my sacred (and brief) bathroom time.
They also told me that I would be exasperated and exclaim to myself, “can I just have a little bit of time to MYSELF?!”
My friends were wrong.
I waited YEARS for my bathroom time to be interrupted. To hear “MAMAAAAAA!!!” seconds before I fall asleep. To feel her tiny little chubby arms clasp around my neck as she whispers in my ear “I love you”. To deal with meltdowns, diaper blowouts, boo-boos, and pouting sessions.
I waited years for ALL OF THIS. Even the hard parts.
I have learned in the waiting that not only is it important HOW you wait for a promise, but it’s also important how well you take care of the promise once it’s given to you.
There is literally not ONE day that goes by where I don’t thank Jesus for the gift of motherhood. It’s a gift I pursued with everything I had inside of me and a gift that I will continue giving thanks for, even in the challenging moments.
Because I am literally living my dream!
Raising up the next generation is an honor and a privilege that a lot of women would do anything to be a part of! And I remember what it felt like being on the other side. I knew someday I would get there, but there was an ever-constant ache in my soul to meet my babies.
Dreams and promises are worth pursuing and believing for, friends!!!
Not only does it make it that much sweeter when it finally comes to fruition, but it also provides a unique perspective once you “arrive”.
If you are believing for something or pursuing a dream, don’t give up. Your efforts will not be made in vain.
And once your promise/dream finally comes to pass, remember what it took to get there and let the attitude of gratitude ever be on your lips!
Happy Saturday, everyone!
How many things that we stress and worry about actually happen? We build huge scenarios inside our heads that fill us with fear and dread. We worry, we panic, we overthink. Our thinking snowballs and creates a scarier reality than real life. We need to get out of our own heads and look at what’s fact, what’s true. If you can’t switch off your overthinking, stress and worry, contact Kalavida Coaching and let me help you to develop the strategies you need to quieten that inner voice and combat stress.
7 Skills you need to succeed in weight training that has nothing to do with your physical ability
To be successful in weight training you do not have to have the greatest physical ability in the world. You don't need to big a jacked-up roid rager. You need a few basic skills that anyone who wants to learn, can. These skills do not take a lot of effort either.

"Sam you don't lift any serious weight bro" or "You not even strong". Here you go, end of my back/ bicep day, fatigued and ready to check out.
I have no ego and nothing to prove and neither should you. As long as you stay hungry and want to improve, get after it everyday, that's all the proof you need. It's all mental.

This is the first time I’m telling this story besides when I told my best friend at the time it happened.
4.5 years ago I had Kohen. 🤱🏼I went back to work 2 weeks later.
After having a baby all my male clients stopped working with me. True story.
One actually said “you’re just not the same as you were before- I’m not sure what’s different.” I can tell you what’s different! 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️ I had a baby and now I honor my boundaries different and that pisses you off. I have to respect my appointment end time because my boobs are exploding. I don’t respond to your emails within seconds because someone else shares my attention now.
I truly believe that THIS particular male client had no idea how ignorant he was.
The part of this story that’s SO ironic is that I became a stylist because I thought it was the perfect “make my own schedule” job I needed to be a mom too.
The thing that all people, not just men, need to realize is that we DO change when we have babies BUT we change for the better.
We become wildly efficient, we learn to honor our boundaries more, we learn to prioritize better we even become more creative, compassionate and intuitive than we were before. We basically become a super human because let’s be serious it takes a super human to be a working mom.
One of things I’m most proud of is that Watson Style Group is overflowing with working moms. There’s breastfeeding during team meetings, snuggles on conference calls, snacks being prepared, and strategy in the school pick up line. 🚌
The thing I really want to share, that’s hard to admit, is that it takes an intentional perspective change to not devalue new mothers. It can absolutely be annoying to accept that you need to share your amazing teammates time with new baby or growing child BUT you are doing yourself and your organization an incredible disservice if you don’t choose to view her and her new “situation” as one of the best things that ever happened. I don’t need to know a thing about your organization to guarantee you can benefit from more empathy, vulnerability and creativity and that’s was mothers are guaranteed to bring to your table! #workingmom

A great boss is someone who inspires their employees to be their best selves. They should be able to identify their employees' best qualities and bring them out. Additionally, they should pinpoint growth opportunities, share them in a constructive manner and help develop a plan for improvement💯💪
Do you agree with this?
