Whether your facility is a commercial gym, a sports team training complex, a powerlifting dungeon, or a group training hotspot, the concept of Band Entropy is a constant. What is Band Entropy? It is the slow depletion of your gym’s collection of bands over time until the only bands left are a few Mammoth bands and an assortment of the heavier Short bands. In other words, want to do band pull-aparts? If your gym has reached an advanced stage of Band Entropy, your only choice left in the facility for these is a band with which the Incredible Hulk might struggle to perform pull-aparts.
There is no other piece of gym equipment that disappears as mysteriously or more consistently than the resistance band. Even in a gym in which there’s a reasonable level of expectation that there’s no “permanent borrowing” of bands going on, somehow the gym’s band collection declines over time until performing an exercise with a band starts to be a process that involves scouting out the band you need days in advance and hiding it, therefore accelerating the process of Band Entropy.
The solution? Acceptance. There is no fighting Band Entropy, only restarting the process with a full arsenal of bands as seen here. Give in to physics and get your bands at elitefts.com
