We hit some major milestones this weekend for @iamawildwoman_ and I’m feeling like all the hard work and the dedication is really paying off 🙌🏻 there’s a chicken pie in the oven, a duvet on the sofa with a Puglet buried in there somewhere and an evening of tele and perhaps a celebratory Gin and Ginger Beer!
This week I’m going to be putting some super exciting plans in place before spending a couple of days in London for belated birthday celebrations and of course my best friends wedding at the end of the week 🙌🏻❤️ I can’t wait!!!! I’m really looking forward to some time for fun and celebrations - some time to let my hair down and get dressed up...because running your own business is rarely ever glamorous!!! This picture is totally my reality on shipping day. A living room full of postal sacks, hands full of paper cuts, PJs, hair that definitely needs a wash but a whole lot of joy all at the same time 🙌🏻💫 Happy Sunday everyone!

Oh, hey guys! It’s your favorite Traveling Florist here working on some exciting videography for an upcoming spring pop up with @bsbsatx! 🎥
I’m not going to lie, I needed that push of motivation to get back in social media action after my weeklong hiatus in Connecticut and New York. It was so amazing to be somewhat disconnected from social media and to only post when I felt like it, instead of on a strict schedule and racking my brain for content.
But I have a clear brain, a fresh thinking process and some newly discovered goals and ideas to start rolling out. Thanks for bearing with me and being patient as I continue to find myself and care for myself on this journey we call small business start up (it’s no joke when you pair it with motherhood and your kid’s competitive sports schedule - I know @roseswickedwires feels me on this).
Much love to those of you who support me and my content (or lack thereof) on the good and the off days. And to @bsbsatx for keeping me focused, on track and challenged! Cheers to you!
My ladies are booked and busy!!!!
I love to see it!
They are constantly creating and scheduling and posting and brainstorming their next ideas.
They are also managing their email lists, their social media accounts, showing up on video, doing lives.
They are literally doing it all !!
This is nothing but an admiration post.
Keep doing the damn thing girl !
You are on fire 🔥

Let me say it louder for the ladies in the back !

I have managed to get away without a business card or website for almost a year.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Until a new contact asked me to speak at an event.😳⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And I had only an email address and an IG handle to give.😱⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I designed this card using my new logo-what do you think?🧐 Comment if you have been able to get away without a business card or website for your biz!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

*If you are a solopreneur, YOU'LL WANT TO SAVE THIS!* Since I had surgery about 2 weeks ago, it's been really hard for me to get back organized with my business. So while I've been resting, I came up with this schedule. It's hard being a solopreneur, PLUS a mom and a wife, but ORGANIZATION IS KEY! I've been neglecting important parts of my business (like my website 🤦🏾♀️) because I simply didn't have time. Now with this schedule, I can focus on one thing at a time and nothing gets overlooked.
On Mondays, I respond to all messages from the weekend and reach out to new potential customers. Tuesdays are for me to research new things in my market. It may be new products, new vendors or new practices. Wednesdays are to update and work on my website. Thursdays are to follow up with my customers, thank them for their orders and to make sure they are satisfied. Fridays are for my finances. This is when I resend or follow up on unpaid invoices, work on tax info (if needed) and check my sales goals for the week. Saturdays are for self care 😉 and Sundays are for social media. I use Sundays to plan out my posts for the week and schedule them. Then, when it's time to post during the week, I'll just have to copy and paste.
This is one of the many practices I'm putting in place to be more efficient and effective. Let me know what you do to keep your business organized as a solopreneur. Drop your tips below!
