What I love about this reset, is that you can take it as hardcore as you want. I prefer to do the first 2 days with the broths and hemp shakes only, then add in cleanse approved food on day 3 and 4.
Day 1 is tough, that was expected. We both were pretty tired and a bit irritable/sensitive. Thankfully days 2-4 ended up being manageable and even pretty enjoyable.
During the 4 days we experienced deep restorative sleep, woke up early with no alarms, felt recharged, clear headed and in a state of calm. The purpose of this cleanse for us was not to lose weight, but I do think we both lost a small amount in the end.
When we did eat small portions of food, we ate simple steamed carrots and spinach with avocado, and how flavorful those were was pretty mind blowing.
This cleanse is like no other cleanse I’ve ever done before. The deep healing that happens within 4 days is truly incredible and it’s eye opening to how efficient our bodies are when you treat them right.
Post cleanse, we’ve both had no real cravings, Kerry is having a tough time drinking his daily coffee again and we both have realized how satiated we can feel off smaller portions 🙌🏼

As a doctor, I understand how stress can become an issue. I juggle what feels like about 10 jobs. I have kids, a house, many employees and patients, plus I’m rarely home because I often travel for work.
I realized that lack of sleep adversely impacts my health. I know I have to make sleep a priority, so I give myself a goal to get seven or eight hours of sleep every night. By experimenting, I figured out that when I get eight hours of good sleep, I feel much more alert and focused.
Trust me; I know what a challenge that can become. Here some ways to achieve a better night’s sleep:
1. Get on a regular schedule.
2. Aim for at least 20 minutes of sunshine every day. It triggers your brain to release chemicals that regulate sleep cycles.
3. I recommend turning off WiFi and keeping all of your electronic devices away from your bed.
4. Keep a journal or notebook by your bed and write down your to-do list or ruminations before you go to sleep so you can close your eyes and make it less likely for your mind to spin.
5. Perform light stretching or yoga before bed.

The cold ❄ season is upon us, and everybody's going down! I've been sick 🤮 for a week now. I've also only been to the gym 2 times in the last 10 days. I'm a sporty guy by nature. So my dedication to the gym is not as hard as your local gym 🐀, but that doesn't mean I don't make it a priority in my life.
So when I get sick 🤮 it's easy for me to step away from the weights until I feel better, but for others this can be a hard pill 💊 to swallow.
Trust me! Your body needs the rest when you're sick 🤮. So take a couple days off to get some rest. The body is very smart and knows when it's being overworked and if you're working out while your body is working on getting and illness out of your body. Your doing no favors by pushing through.
So drop the weights, drink more water 💦 and get some much needed rest. 😴
