Retrolit was born out of a community-driven desire for making the walk around downtown more interesting and enjoyable in Lynn, Massachusetts. Merging art, history and technology, Beyond Walls restored and installed 12 former vintage neon signs turned light-emitting pieces of artwork from the collection of Dave Waller of Brickyard VFX. These vibrant artifacts of classic commercial Americana have been dusted off, spruced up, and now shine light onto the streetscape… in all their retro glory. This beautiful sign was from Carroll’s Typewriter Exchange. #beyondwallslynn#urbanstreetart

The Chinese American mom and pop Lucky Boy diner was one of my favorite buildings in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The small restaurant is an institution in Albuquerque, New Mexico and it is located in the Summit Park area next to the University of New Mexico. It has been around since 1968 and the building itself is a great example of commercial mid century modern architecture. The restaurant is known for is its “east meets west” dining concept and great Green Chile Burgers. #newmexicotrue#luckyboyabq 🍔🥟🥠☘️

We visit Court Pastry Shop in our latest YouTube video: Brooklyn Food Tour, Vintage & Vinyl Records, where we take a walking tour around Carroll Gardens and visit many old-school Italian independently-owned food businesses along Court Street and also visit vintage shops and a vinyl record store.
We go inside this beloved Italian bakery and see all of the homemade pastries, cookies and cakes they make fresh daily. We purchase a vanilla cannoli and lobster tail pastry and also get one of their delicious homemade Italian ices to enjoy on nearby on the steps of one of the Italianate brownstones this neighborhood is known for (swipe for 2nd photo with our dog @hudsonpittienyc Getting ready to enjoy an Italian ice)
To see the interior of this #italianpastry shop and see what we purchased, please subscribe to our channel (direct link in bio). We will be posting new videos weekly, highlighting small unique businesses in NYC.

Another shot of these lovely looking Built up letters manufactured and installed for one of our regular clients @seagate
We were tasked with assisting seagate with their rebrand, the total package included everything from new reception graphics to these stunning looking, halo lit, built up letters, at almost 6m across the photos really don't do the scale of this sign justice.
