The self titled album was met with both praise and cricism. Very much divided. I think it's beautiful. Fuck those nerds in the shoegaze community who didn't approve of it for absolutely no reason. Fuck fantanos four star review. Fuck em.
Wozniak. These are a shoegaze band from Edinburgh. Another band I've been following for a while. They create beautiful swirling tunes drenched in effects and reverb. This was their 2nd album + 1st to be released on vinyl, which I snapped up.. #TGbestof2019https://open.spotify.com/album/6dDn8uaOlOLp7XpKwOb156?si=VF_8ebIqSeu0ARK_PlciZg …
For sale / proper trade. Insanely rare Pale Saints ‘In Ribbons’ promo long sleeve from ‘92. Both tagged XL (fits smaller) with no major damage. No silly offers please, i know how hard to find one. The one on the right are in near deadstock condition. Drop a comment or DM if interested ⭐️🐠 #palesaints#shoegaze
Jesu - Jesu I discovered Jesu by accident at @roadburnfest yet again.
It was love at first sight, when I heard it for first time - it really was a "angle choir" moment. His "soft" heaviness and longing vocals are exactly what I was looking for. When I scooped the record, it really was like salvation ( I really wanted it) but I was fucking devastated at first when I found out that it was the remastered version, it definitely sounds different to the original one, but once you get used to it, it does sound better. (and I was to cheap and poor to buy the original) anyways, it's my go to record for any occasion. It's really one of those records your can hear on repeat.

We’ve been mentioned as part of @kerrangmagazine_ ‘s ‘50 most metal moments of 2019; Black Metal Reached New Highs’ “For too long black metal has been plagued by far-right thinking, whether through the activities of malevolent National Socialist black metal outfits or through the equally troubling passivity of the wider scene in overlooking troubling imagery and messages associated with their music. In 2019, it felt like the anti-fascist extreme metal was getting real traction for the first time with British bands like Dawn Ray’d and Underdark taking a stand.” Read in full;
Biggest thank you to all your support this year. We’ve been well & truly humbled.
2020: our album is going to rip your head off.

Quick iPhone recorded sloppy loop. And I dig it. I challenge you to sit down, make a loop, and share it with us. Shoot a vid with your iPhone or whatever. First loop of the day, no retakes, and be honest. If it doesn’t come out right and you can’t let yourself post it, try again tomorrow. Can I make that an official challenge? If you’re reading this and wish to partake then tag me in it. Do uhhh #honestloopchallenge does that work? If I get say...20 people To do this, I’ll give away a pedal to the coolest loop. I’m just making this up as I go. Improv. Kinda ties in nicely to the loop thing 🤔 this could be fun if it happens. Tag somebody in this video that should do this. If not, all good. Enjoy this mess #👾
