The first time I started to truly stand up for myself was back in 2013. I was in a toxic relationship...you know the kind where you’re constantly searching for a compliment, never feeling valued and always trying to prove your worth?
Yeah...one of those.
I’m not sure why I continuously put myself in situations or relationships with individuals who just made me feel less than who I was. But this was the cycle I was previously in and out for years.
The outcome➡️bye bye self worth and I pretty much kissed my self confidence goodbye.
One of the biggest struggles I had over the years was building my self worth and self confidence back up. Empowering myself to love me again.
How did I do this?
I accepted what is.
I looked in the mirror and called myself out. I did an honest self review. I looked at my strengths and weaknesses in every area of my life and learned to accept it all.
I love the sh*t out of myself now and I’ve never felt more confident in my life. I’m confident with who I am not because I’ve talked myself up girl, but because I’ve taken the time to do an honest self review.
And that’s how you truly become BOMB proof on your life ladies. This is how you empower yourself to love ALL of who you are and release the need to be validated from others to prove your worth.
No one is born feeling self-empowered. Confidence is learned. EVERYONE has fears and insecurities but the moment you check yourself and accept what is you become untouchable.
I encourage you today to let go of perfection...it isn’t real girl. Instead learn to accept yourself...unapologetically ❤️

Ever feel like your head is going to explode because you just can't stay on top of things? Yeah, me, too. .
So what do we do about this? Well, first of all, do you have a real plan? Or just an idea or ideal or goal?
It's great to have good intentions. "I'm going to stay on top of the laundry this week" "I'm going to get that thing I've been putting off done today" "I'm going to cook dinner every night" "I'm going to get to work on time"
What's your version of those lovely ideals? And how are you going to make it happen? No, seriously, what is the step by step plan?
I'm slowly adding to my systems. Starting in June I began putting the dishes in the dishwasher as soon as I get home, emptying it, filling it, etc., first thing when I come downstairs in the morning. About a month later I added wiping down the sink before I leave for work. My kitchen looks better than ever in my adult life, and is getting even better. Starting this week I decided Tuesdays are thoroughly clean the stove top days. Thursdays are refresh the couches days. I plan to add a clean the toilets day in there, but, let's not get ahead of ourselves as I have a Fly Lady trick to set up for that.
As I baby step my way into systems it's easy to maintain. I feel great, successful, and grown up. I have more ideas and a few other systems I'm already incorporating, but it's all a work in progress. .
However, without a system to lean on I'd be lost. .

Love my kid so much. Homeschool is over for now so shes n her lil club area she plays in. she did 8 lessons in vocabulary. All 100%s. I said i was proud of her.she said daddy im proud of myself too. Lol. I said thats good babe! #selfpride
