Our economy is rigged. Millions of Americans are working longer hours for lower wages and yet all of the new income is going to the top one percent.
Donald Trump’s tax plan is yet another example of the rigged economy. It proposes a 21.6 percent increase in after-tax income for the top one percent. Keep in mind, this is the same top one percent that owns almost as much wealth as the bottom 90 percent of earners combined.
Trump not only wants the richest to have more, he wants the poorest to have less. In fact, he thinks wages in America are too high.
Why, in a country where the richest people are already getting richer and the poorest people are already getting poorer, would Trump propose a tax plan that’s so generous to the rich and unfair to the poor? Why, when the 400 richest Americas already have more wealth than half of all Americans, would Trump want the rich to have more?
Oh, that’s right. He’s a billionaire.

To all those condemning Sanders and his supporters for what transpired in Nevada: let's not forget that it was Sanders who had the decency to defend Clinton time and time again when it came to her emails. The Sanders campaign has run one of the rarest, cleanest campaigns in modern US history. That campaign has consistently put issues before gossip, even when it meant missing opportunities to take down their opponent. Sanders and his supporters deserve the upmost respect for everything they've accomplished. To blame the entire Sanders camp for the actions taken by a select few is analogous with condemning all Muslims for the violence committed by a small number.
When I came out to my doctor as trans when I was 15, before he even told me my transition options he said “Well, I hope you make a lot of money when you grow up.” That’s why I need #MedicareForAll. #trans#LGBTQProud#SandersForPresident

The fact that Hillary Clinton performs significantly worse than Bernie Sanders against Donald Trump is NOT a small detail.
Neither is the fact that Hillary Clinton clearly saw me taking this picture. #StillSanders
This thing is over. 65% of the entrance poll is Very or somewhat liberal which Bernie crushes in.

Today in Bakersfield California Bernie Sanders came to the rally to visit us here in Kern and it was awesome big shout-out to Neel sanappa and his crew for excellent job 👍🏾💙💙💙💙💙🎤🎤🎤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🔥💋💋💋💙💙💙. #activateandmotivate
It's no great secret that young women in the Democratic Party prefer Bernie Sanders to Hillary Clinton. Just last month, USA Today/Rock the Vote's poll found that Democratic and independent women between the ages of 18 and 34 favor Senator Sanders by nearly 20 percentage points. On the other hand, women over 65 represent the only cohort that overwhelmingly prefers Clinton to Sanders.
The Democratic generational divide grew even more palpable last week when feminist Gloria Steinem accused young women of only voting for Bernie Sanders because they crave attention from young men, who also tend to lean towards Senator Sanders.
Kathleen Graves, founder of the @BabesforBernie Instagram account, promptly responded to Steinem's accusations with the new hashtag: #NotHereForBoys.
Graves explained, "The notion that Bernie's overwhelming support among millennial women are only in it to impress boys or because they don't do their own research and are simply following what the boys are doing is incredibly 1. categorically false and 2. incredibly offensive to all of the thousands of women around the country who have spent exhaustive amounts of time organizing events, phone banks, rallies and marches. Bernie is running a campaign that is inspiring women to stand up and take an active part, many of whom this is their first experience in the world of politics... The ultimate goal of feminism is to take gender out of the equation and that's exactly what the women who are supporting Bernie are doing." Graves continued, "When you are able to assess the candidates on issues, character and authenticity, Bernie wins our hearts and minds hands down. Of course, we would not be where we are today without fierce and strong female trailblazers who have been paving the way for decades but women in politics is not one-size-fits-all and we are willing to wait for Ms. Right not Ms. Right Now. Will we have a woman president one day? Absolutely. In the mean time, we'll take two women in the White House: Jane Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
Voting for Bernie is one way I say "I love you" to my grandma on social security, to my nephews in college, to my great nephews who will inherit our planet. .
Voting for Bernie is how I say "I care for you" to strangers asking for help with medical bills on GoFundMe and to people at the border and to my bartenders who go without medical benefits. I make my vote not for Me but for Us!

Bernie also voted against Iran sanctions which Liz voted for which was a violation of the Iran deal. She's objectively not as left as him on foreign policy and never spoke up for Lula.
Bernie telling the 9th richest man in the world directly to his face that he’s a thief. One of the highlights if you ask me!

The water is warm, I promise. r/SandersForPresident is a much less caustic atmosphere than twitter, despite the occasional childish meme.

If Bernie is looking good with white people this things over
Bernie Sanders defeated Hillary Clinton in Indiana today. The Senator from Vermont cashed in on his overwhelming support from independent voters, who are allowed to participate in Indiana’s open primary. Sanders has repeatedly proven that he outperforms Hillary Clinton among independent voters. Indiana was just the latest example of Sanders’ crossover appeal. He also won big in New Hampshire, Wisconsin and Michigan, where independents are free to participate.
By contrast, when delegate-rich New York and Pennsylvania voted last week, independents were excluded. Not surprisingly, Clinton won and extended her delegate lead. In response, Sanders criticized the closed primary system, which denies independents from having a say in which candidates the two major parties nominate. He argued: “Three million people in the state of New York who are independents have lost their right to vote in the Democratic or Republican primary... That’s wrong.” Sanders’ path to the nomination, though narrow, is predicated on the hope that superdelegates will acknowledge his dominance among independents and switch their allegiance over to him. After all, independents can and will vote by the millions in a general election. The general election is not closed like New York’s primary. Bernie Sanders is far better positioned for a general election than he was for the Democratic primary. In fact, he’s far better positioned than Hillary Clinton. (Special thanks to @justin_muell and @angelsnake for suggesting a story about Bernie and his appeal among independents. Look out for #MediaMondays. Every Monday I'll be taking suggestions for stories that don't get enough coverage from the mainstream media.)
Jane Sanders, and more cake than youve ever seen in one place. Dr. Sanders dropping by for a field organizers birthday?!? Of course this is the campaign and candidate with boundless love, enthusiasm, solidarity, and magic ✨💪🏼♥️🤍💙 #NotMeUS#Bernie2020#sandersforpresident
I look at the votes they took rather than what they say. I disagree with Bernie on this but warren have trump a bigger military budget and has no left solidarity around the world. Did she even call what Happened in Bolivia a coup? She's worse on isreal Palestine as well

FRIENDS!!! Exciting Weekend ahead! We are so close to the primary, California has SO many delegates, and Bernie needs as MANY as he can to cinch the nomination. So turning out EVERY VOTE MATTERS!!! 💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️🇺🇲 🎈TONIGHT! 🎉🎉🎉Come to a Bernie party with me at the Bernie office! We'll be doing volunteer tasks such as making calls to Bernie supporters to get out canvassing this weekend and next. 5pm, at the Bernie office on 15th and Broadway!🎈🎈🎈 🥰TOMORROW, I am doing the West Oakland Canvass, come join me! OR check out all these other canvasses listed below going on this weekend! 😍
West Oakland: https://www.mobilize.us/s/xIrQmG ✨✨✨Find all these other events at events.berniesanders.com and filter by your zip code! ✨✨✨ Knocking on doors can seem scary! But honestly after my first canvass it felt super easy. The doors you knock on are targeted voters so you're not gonna have to try to convince trumpers or anything like that, people are not upset or annoyed to chat, really it's pretty chill!!! But still a canvass can be hard to get out to, and you can also still help out by ☎️☎️☎️PHONE AND TEXT BANKING!!!!📱📱📱 Info for making calls are also listed on the events page.
We are truly in an all hands on deck moment and even the littlest bit of volunteering, donating, and getting the vote out matters. Because YOU and your voice in the systems matters. Because not me, US!!!!!!!!!!!!! 💓💓💓💞💞💞💕💕💕💕💞 ⬇️⬇️⬇️ BAY AREA CANVASSES⬇️⬇️⬇️
