Sometimes I wonder why people wanna follow my account and my running journey. I see myself as the “girl next door” type, no more than anyone else.. I’m just a person who tries to inspire other to choose an active lifestyle. I wanna spread a message that being active makes you feel good, both mentally and physically. And as I’ve wrote about several times before (sorry for being annoying here😅) I’m nominated as “The most inspiring woman of the year”, a competition hosted by @letsdothis.com_ . This nomination came very unexpected and made me think even more about my role I social media and my journey to get here. I’m just so thankful that it ended up this way. 10km training Done! 💙 My coach @coach.vanessaguirau said: “just run with your heart. It’s just a training”. And I did with my heart. Not PB today for only 00:00:36 😅 But I did my best even feeling that My immunity is not the best at the moment and my mental neither... as my bff is going back to Brazil next Thursday 😢 —- 📍I was a little bit upset with the organization. Many people blocking the narrow paths, especially at Royal Botanic Garden. I hope the organization works better next year to keep the correct runners in the correct pace groups. It’s so frustrating! @officialbsrf —-
🙌But let’s keeping working hard! Less than one month to my next Half-Marathon in Melbourne. @melbmara 🇧🇷A treinadora pediu pra eu correr tranquila porque era só um treino. E corri. Corri super bem. Não bati o melhor tempo por conta de 36 segundos. Mas eu já inaginava porque a prova tem um@pouquinho mais de subidas. O que me chateou foi a organizaçao não ter separado melhor os grupos por pace. Muita gente no grupo que deveria correr entre 50 minutos e 1 hora andando e bloqueando a passagem. Perdemos tempo e energia desviando se muita gente e tentando abrir espaço. Confesso que dei uma estressadinha e não curti mais o final por conta disso. 🤷🏻♀️ Mas ok... foi um treino muito bem feito e fico feliz por isso. 😄 Agora próxina corrida será a Meia-Maratona de Melbourne. Nova planilha de treinos começa amanhã! Uhuuu!!
#MondayMemories & #Medal Monday to last week’s Sunday run at the 10km #ChronicleRun2019 🏃🏻♂️in my neighborhood of Bintaro, Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia 🇮🇩 where my knee has improved, feeling like how it was in April when I started running again after the injury break & I got my ass beaten by mostly local men pro athletes & seasoned vets 😏...and that’s usually the case in most of the races anyways 😆...even then I still enjoy running in these events 🤙🏽😊
Aside from that, just like the name of this run, I love to chronicle my #Journey in the hopes that maybe some ppl will take up running as a way to become a healthier & a more positive person. And it doesn’t require much. No membership, no talent (kinda), no equipment & no excuse. It just requires your sound mind, your healthy heart & an abled body, if anything, and MAYBE, a pair of running shoes 👟. And running makes you a positive person, naturally, bc once you take it up your natural instinct is to improve some or any part of your running game at any given time. Whether, you’re trying to improve your technique, your personal best for any given distance, your health or weight loss, an injury or your yoga pose 😜, running improves your life with very little investment. Shit! If you tell me to go run 🏃🏻♂️ on a Sunday morning every Sunday just a little over 1 year ago, I’d tell you to F**K OFF! I hated running! But here I am now, always looking for any opportunity to run almost every day & every Sunday if I could...#LetsGo run! 🏃🏻♂️💨🔥

Da ich am 03.10. den Phoenix-Halbmarathon laufen möchte, habe ich mir für gestern einen Longrun vorgenommen. Das hat soweit auch gut geklappt. Nur, wie das beim Übergang der Jahreszeiten immer wieder vorkommt, war ich etwas falsch angezogen🤷🏼♀️ Ich bin aber bei 13 Grad losgelaufen und wollte keine Erkältung riskieren... Also habe unterwegs nicht nur wegen der sportlichen Betätigung geschwitzt😅

In one week I'll be running my first ultra - Whistler Alpine Meadows 55km. I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so...scared! I'm also grateful for the health I'll be hitting the starting line with, the insane scenery I got to explore while training this summer, and all of the friends who joined me on trails with their knowledge, and laughs, and of course snacks.
