I can't believe so much love can fit into one hand ❤️
Did you know that Sammy is officially my dog and Yuna is officially my boyfriend's dog? ☺️ But of course I love her really much, she is part of our little family!!
Me and André both got Sammy and Yuna together and we still love each other, but I find it quite important to talk about this. Did you know there are a lot of pets that end up in shelters after a breakup? 🙈
Do you have pets with your significant other and did you talk about to whom they officially belong? ☺️
The sun came out for my hike this evening. Feeling so thankful for our quick access to nature and the ability to escape the goings on of our world right now. Much needed time alone, too.
And then Chewy fell through the ice over a sinkhole in the river. 😢 Grateful for my calm, assertive reaction and pulling him out via his collar while not falling in myself. The Sturgeon River is not a deep river by any means, but this particular spot was deeper than my old man and it was heart pounding, to say the least.

A perfect example of why it's acceptable to laugh when your children hurt themselves. Please enjoy.
Meet Emma! This beautiful goofy girl is a 5 month old special needs German shepherd, with a broken disc in her lower spine. As the video shows, she’s very mobile and isn’t in any pain! She does, however, have issues with incontinence, and may end up needing wheels in the future. Still the happiest, smartest girl you’ll meet, and is very dog friendly!
Check out her full write up on our facebook page!

Pancho quickly became a volunteer favorite with his generous kisses, soft nature and goofy personality. This pittie is full of love and his big brown eyes can make your heart melt. Pancho is easy to walk, takes treats nicely and loves belly rubs. Although Pancho has been in playgroups and is not not reactive to dogs on walks, Pancho is dog selective and can be reactive to some dogs. Pancho would be best suited in an experienced adult only home with no pets. Please call the SBCAS in Santa Barbara at 805-681-5285 for more information and to make an appointment to meet Pancho.
