@berkleyromance@netgalley#partner | FAKER by Sarah Smith proved to be a really sweet multicultural romance. It starts off with the classic enemies-to-lovers trope, but our main characters — Emmie and Tate — quickly find themselves falling into an endearing relationship that had me audibly aww-ing several times. Cuteness aside, Smith clearly also knows how to write sexual tension (I’m still fanning myself over here). If you’re a fan of contemporary romance and are looking for a sweet, quick read, then check this one out ☺️ Pub Day: 11/8/19

Have a lovely day Dear Friends 💛.
Do you love listening to the music while reading your current read? Well it becomes my habit during that time, moreover when the author gives the list of playlist, theme for the book, love it so much! Currently reading Broken Night by L.J Shen, i love how the author gives the playlist too! So i could enjoy the book with imagining the scene with the songs 💛 at first chapters i felt like this book almost had similarity like All The Ugly and Wonderful Things, but i hope it had differences at the end.
Anyway i really love my tea ‘Poeme Infini’ from @ici.official ! It really tastes so good 💛 you can use my code,

Happy Friday! It’s my last weekend before starting my last uni year (my 7th 😱) and my new job, so I’m a bit stressed out. (I’ll explain to you all why I’m still going to uni this weekend over my stories, I promise!)
My plans are to work (I’m still not ready lol), to organise myself and to breathe a little. I’ll probably watch some more Gilmore Girls (the perfect tv show to watch after a hard day, right?) and read! I want to read one book this weekend.
What are your plans? ✨

What’s the last book you read that you can’t stop thinking about? For me, it’s THE MOST FUN WE EVER HAD by Claire Lombardo. It’s probably the best book I’ve read this year so far!
Some other books I have loved this year so far:
•Brown White Black
•Red White and Royal Blue
•Age of Miracles
•The Care and Feeding of Ravenously Hungry Girls
•A Woman Is No Man
Man, I’ve read so many good books already this year and I can’t wait to add more to that list! Have you read any of these?

Hurray, it’s a bank holiday! Three days off work and I’m looking forward to filling it with walking, reading and family time. As I’m expecting to get a good amount of reading done over the next few days, I thought I’d update you on my recent bookish thoughts before my next influx of current reads:
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte: I shared my thoughts on this one more fully in a previous post, but in short, I found it atmospheric but found Heathcliff utterly unbearable. I’m glad I read it as it’s such a well-known classic but goodness me, what a character.
Three Hours by Rosamund Lupton: This is a quick read about a school shooting and the tense three hours from initial shots fired to final resolution. I enjoyed it, but actually wished a little more would have happened. It’s very engrossing though - I read it very speedily.
Rising Strong by Brene Brown: I’m actually still reading this book, but it’s more of Brene at her absolute finest. I can only read it in small chunks at a time as there’s so much to take in, but I find her so wise and her research is so life-applicable. I’m a huge fan.
The Story of a New Name by Elena Ferrante: 5 star read for me, I loved this book SO much. If you haven’t read My Brilliant Friend (the first in the series), read it immediately, and then pick up this book. I can’t wait to read the next book by her, I’m obsessed with this series.
Normal People by Sally Rooney: This book sat on my bookshelf for ages before I picked it up, and I don’t know why it took me so long. I really loved this book - I loved the characters, the storyline, the setting, the writing, just everything. Completely magical.
My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell: A very powerful and in-depth novel on a teacher-student relationship. It’s really well written and so clearly shows the complexities of a young woman coming to terms with her abuse, and labelling it as such. This is such a good book for opening up this difficult conversation, and I really appreciated the insights it gave me on this subject.
So there are my thoughts on my recent reads. Have you read any of these books? I’d love to hear your thoughts if so!

#BBBOOKSTAGRAM day 24 favoriete LGBTQ+ (Favourite LGBTQ+)
Posting this a bit earlier than usual but I've got a busy day ahead of me and I have a birthday party tonight! To be honest I don't have a favourite LGBTQ+.
I finished ACOWAR this morning and I didn't think I would love these books as much as I did.

English below! ✨🌼✨Goedemorgen mede-bookstagrammers!
✨🌼✨Good morning fellow-bookstagrammers Do you often listen to audio books?🎧 I listened to 'The Party' by Elizabeth Day and was hooked from the beginning to the end. For the largest part of the story you have no idea what's going on. The beauty of the book is that this is not as annoying as one would assume. Slowly, more and more is revealed about the past of the main characters, so you start to understand what has happened. Or so you think...✨🌼✨

And all the books you've read have been read by other people. And all the songs you've loved have been heard by other people. And that girl that's pretty to you is pretty to other people. and that if you looked at these facts when you were happy, you would feel great because you are describing 'unity.

• I've been mystified this morning by the number of journalists who've written snarky articles about Gwyneth Paltrow having her childhood friend Thatcher Wine from @juniperbooks curate her bookcases. There are several very critical comments on Twitter too. Why do people care what Gwyneth chooses to do with her own bookshelves in her own home? Surely much of the interest stems from envy. It's a similar thing to all the criticism that people get if they shelve their books in blocks of colour, or if they turn the books with the spines to the back. There are so many serious issues in the world right now that are worthy of concern and comment, but how people fill their own bookcases is not one of them •
