it’s finally done! a 2019 guide to all things journaling is up on my blog (link in bio)🧡 i apologise for the delay!! i’ve only gotten around to blogging a few days ago (accompanied by the most amazing chocolate & custard horns from @freddiestrudels) and was focused solely on this post (so i could get it up ASAP!). i hope the guide is somewhat helpful✨ please let me know your thoughts if you decide to read it!☺️
This is the book I’m MOST excited to read this year!!!!! @cambria_grace sent me a copy and I can. not. wait to dig into it! (Do I put my current book on hold and clear my schedule for the rest of the day???? I’m tempted.)
I’ve listened to this twice now. A fantastic story and blessing to those who are looking for some new perspective on the bigger picture of life and the lessons available in what we go through. I’ve recommended it to a few people already and hope that you (and they!) will read this book. #healthyinsideandout#personalgrowth#read
The Underdogs - Underrated Reads #BookFavesJuly2019 💙 I personally LOVED this book a lot. I don’t know if this is underrated but I don’t see any people/bookstagrammers posting about this book so🤷🏻♀️😂 But I remember reading reviews of people who didn’t like it because of some issues with how the culture of SK was treated.➖
Hello, I Love You by Katie M. Stout IS SERIOUSLY SO CUTE AND just thinking about it makes me giggle like a weirdo🤣 Look, I am a huge “anything Korean” fan so you get why I love this book so much. The characters include K-pop stars, alright!!! But all of those aside, I get why people would get mad at this book, again, because of the way culture was treated. 🎶
ANYWAY, is there any k-pop stans here?! EXO-Ls?? ARMYs??? Shawols?? 🤣💞
As a mum and emphatic person it is built into my being to care for others before myself, it's just a part of who I am; a part of me I would never want to change. But each time I get sick or overwhelmed with life stresses it becomes apparent to me that I need to find a better balance between caring for others and caring for myself. I need to remind myself that doing things for myself isn't a selfish act, it's an act of importance. Rest and self-care are so important it's not just a Snapchat photo getting your nails done. When you take time to replenish your spirit, it allows you to serve others from the over flow. You cannot serve from an empty vessel.
