THIS PICTURE MAY CONTAIN “OFFENSIVE” CONTENT ‼️
Recently, a lesbian couple (@kelseystacypearson & @heathermyriahpearson) posted their beautiful wedding video highlighting their marriage, love, and happiness. Instagram labeled this video as “offensive” and “inappropriate” and decided to take it off the platform. We are here to tell you that LOVE IS REAL. YOUR LOVE IS VALID. No one can take that away from you.
We often surround ourselves with other people who value the same things as we do. When you are supported by members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community (online or in your everyday life), it can be painful to step away from that positivity and open mindfulness and acknowledge that homophobia is still a real issue. AND IT SUCKS.
We love you all and we hope you never stop standing up for yourselves, for your friends, for what is RIGHT. Love is not offensive. We won’t stop fighting. Love is for everyone ❣️
(P.S. Enjoy this throwback from summer when we gave a big 🖕🏼 to the guys behind us who started pointing and yelling at us saying that our love was wrong) 🙄 #toGAYtherwerise
Is it weird to have a house warming party after living in your home for a couple of months? 😂 We’re FINALLY starting to feel more settled. It’s crazy how long things take when you have to wait for furniture, etc., and then piece it all together. At this point we have most of our furnishings, minus our headboard, bed frame, and artwork/accessories. Now we understand why it takes so long before our clients invite us over. 😜
