Living the best life 💜
Happy weekend lovelies!✨ Just got to Paris for a family gathering and I'm so excited to spend some quality time with them and to eat all the goodies here 🥐🥂 What are your plans today? Hope you have a fab day ahead⭐️
The past seven years of my professional (day job) life have been pretty cool. In 2012 my husband and I picked up and left Arizona in search of new adventures in Portland, Oregon. The job that brought me to the Pacific Northwest was one with a mission I could get really get behind, and ended up being my favorite job to-date. For most of that time I was blessed to have the best supervisor I've ever had, someone who saw me and empowered me and supported me and called me on my BS. I also had the most fabulous group of coworkers I could imagine -- people that I learned so much from and who I forged bonds with that are much stronger than any employment contract. I was given so many opportunities to shine, and was forgiven and supported when I was less than stellar. I honed my technical skills and people skills in equal measure, and was afforded the opportunity to create and lead an outstandingly amazing project team, and together we achieved things that we could never do alone.
And for all that this job brought to me, and brought me to, I am super grateful. It was a big season in my life and now is as good a time as any to try some new adventures. I'm walking into a future that is unwritten at the moment, and that feels OK and even a little exciting to me. As I focus my eyes forward, I wanted to make one more Thank You to the past. Thank you for getting me here, today. Thank you for the tools, the experiences, and the relationships; I'm taking them all with me wherever I go.
Grateful, 8" x8 ", mixed pens and pencils.
