How am I in the third trimester?
They say pregnancy goes fast...and they aren’t kidding.
Everyday that this little man stays cookin, I feel more and more relieved...and also more and more exited to meet him.
We are in that weird in between stage of ~ we want him here now ~ and ~ we don’t want to wish these days away
If I’m being totally honest..I feel so unprepared.
I had so many plans of what I’d do during my pregnancy and all the things I would learn about being a mom before he is here..and that just hasn’t been the case
But I think we, as expecting mommy’s, put so much pressure on ourselves to know EXACTLY how to do this motherhood thing before our baby’s are born.
Like somehow if we haven’t read every baby/mommy book or gotten all the details down about every little thing, we’ve already failed them.
But the biggest lesson Gods taught me in all of this, and the greatest thing he has prepared me for...is to be a mom who fights for her baby, and prays boldly for her baby.
I know all the rest will come naturally, and I’ll learn along the way.
I don’t know exactly what being a mom will feel like..but I know as soon as he enters this world and I get to see with my eyes what the Lord has been knitting in my womb so carefully, I’ll experience a love I’ve never experienced before.
I never would have wished this situation on us, but now that we are in it.. I’d never wish it away
Only 11 more weeks to go...and we will be able to see this little #worldchanger -
I pray he feels the Lords hand, he already knows his parents love, and he will come into this world with as much power as his name professes.🌿
I know we've seen this quote floating around the internet... but I think it's a good reminder. ❤️ Sometimes I get caught up in the everyday routine of picking up, dropping off; in the activities and the chores; in the whirlwind of motherhood, rushing from one place to the other, from one thing to the next. That I forget. I forget to remember that this is not only MY time to rock it as a mom, but that it's my kids' ONLY childhood. THIS IS IT. This is our time mamas. If you're anything like me, you've waited to hold onto and raise up your little ones your entire life. I get it; sometimes it doesn't feel like this is our time.. That this is the moment; that these are "the days." When your kid has a pout on his face or the baby's not napping, it's hard to remember. But it's here and it's now.. and it's our time to shine! 🌟
I remember when we were waiting for my first son to be born and I was contemplating getting the new iPhone because they had JUST released a newer version of a camera (shocker) that supposedly took awesome pictures. I was at the Apple store with my parents and I eventually decided not to get it. I had the money saved up but figured I'd wait. And my dad looked at me like I was crazy. He said, "Brooke. This is it. These are the days." And it kind of hit me. Not that I'm encouraging you to drop money on all of the latest and greatest things for your kids' sake. But it made me think. This is it.
Yes, days can be hard. Kids can be frustrating and unrelenting. But let's try to remember that this little family of ours is everything we've always hoped for. So let's be everything we'd hoped we'd be for our kids. And let's do that TODAY. Because these are the days. ❤️

Oh pregnant belly, our journey together is coming to an end...although we may have gotten off to a rough start this second time around, I take the good with the bad😅 I have enjoyed this journey nonetheless but I am ready to say goodbye and meet our baby girl💛

Babywearing friends 🧡 The Embrace Cozy newborn carrier is soft, cozy and super comfortable. No complicated wrapping or tying. This carrier keeps you and baby close as you find your new rhythm together. The Embrace is great for the fourth trimester, when you are sticking close to home and easing the transition for baby into the world.
Credit to from @eobstetricsandgynecology (@get_regrann) .

There were absolutely no changes to anything this week!
My doctor will be on vacation for 1 week starting this weekend, so although I'd love for her to come then, I want my doctor to be the one delivering her especially if I end up having to have a C-Section.
This pregnancy is almost up and I know I'm gonna miss my baby bump!😭 ♡
