Let's be honest. Bride & Bride = Love.
This is a hand-picked set out of a selection I'm about to show @jsalvitron & Alex from their beautiful wedding just earlier this month on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound. I so enjoyed this for much of the same reasons as Amy & Harry's wedding that I wrote about in my previous post. My friendship with Jess started years ago at the REI flagship store right in downtown Seattle. Jess and I really connected one evening in late 2014 as we found ourselves at the coffee shop across from work after our shifts and got chatting more than the typical work shift chi-chats. In the first weeks of my living in my RV on the streets, she offered to help me out by allowing me to park in front of her house and we'd occasionally have "laundry parties" where we would hang out, do laundry, and/or have dinner while I also defrost from being outside (this was Feb-Apr in the northwest, so not warm at all). In Sep 2015, we ventured to Nepal together and volunteered with @consciousimpact. It was Jess' first trip to Asia, and the whole experience as a good majority of you know has pivoted my life while further solidifying our friendship. Although I've never connected deeply with Alex in our REI days (yes, we all met through our old work!), I do remember the two of them first getting together, and it was rather cute to see them chat & flirt, hear about the relationship flourishing in the years that followed, and now - a couple that complements and uplifts one another.
Jess & Alex, thank you for choosing me to be the photographer at your wedding weekend. Thank you for introducing me to many of your closest family and friends. I am so appreciative of you both and cannot wait to keep being friends and share with you more of what I've captured to be cherished forever. 🙏🏽 ✨
