Sometimes I get lost in what to post, what will get the most “likes” or engagement on my posts. It’s so hard in a sea of people competing for the same thing. .
The further I dive into my “why” on being a photographer... it’s moments like these. Sure having 10k followers, or thousands of comments/likes are great BUT do they actually mean anything? Not really. Real people. Real moments matter. First looks with Grandma Rosie are what are important. I for one am going to try and post more things like this! 💕 //•

This is what a session looks like when the senior and her mom trust me with all the details from clothing to hair and makeup and scouting an epic location! This full experience option is often used for couples, engagements and elopements, but it’s also a great option for seniors! It’s not often the weather and the tide allow you inside the Devil’s Punch Bowl! As a matter of fact, a surfer said he won’t go near it! This is where planning and watching the tide was paramount and soooo worth it! Isn’t she beautiful?!?

Absolutely love all of the new & original "guest book" ideas!
Things have totally changed from the typical guest books to having your guests sign a piece of art that you display in your home!
This wedding @laura_love92 had their guests sign this big beautiful slab of wood (there's probably a fancier name for it out there but I got nothin lol!) But it is gorgeous and it's going to be such a beautiful piece of art and a great reminder of their special day.
For our wedding we had our guests sign a snowboard! We've had it hung on our wall since wedding day. Snowboarding is something we both love to do together and we thought a snowboard would be a super awesome thing to have our guests sign. (Unfortunately I haven't been able to partake in snowboarding the past couple of years because I've been pregnant every winter it seems 😂😭)
But I've seen so many cool guest "book" ideas! And they are awesome.
What kind of guest book did you have at your wedding?! Or what kind WOULD you have 😜
I have come to the most counter intuitive conclusion that being the most tired produces the BEST results. That, or, I was damn lucky hanging with Myles and Liz on the coast!✌🏻It’s probably the latter. You decide.
