2/9! Day 2! I'd quite happily cover some floor in my house with this one...

1/9. Decided to do a mini daily doodle challenge. I though I'd experiment a bit with colour and layers and see how it develops. Ill switch things up as I go - The first 9 will be tiles! I haven't decided what the next 9 will be haha. Ps, I'm treating this like an open sketchbook experiment so I'm excited to see what happens but also a little nervous if everything starts to look very different for a bit in my feed. But hey, we gotta try new things from time to time... Right?? ☺️
Remember these floral motifs I created?? Well I have switched out the purple for tones to suit my branding and the kind of style I like. It is so much fun recreating my older patterns into something new! 🖤.
Now that I am embracing my own unique style I am really enjoying designing again and I am feeling so motivated to keep on creating!.
The blog is now ready and will be launching on Monday! I just want to add an extra post or two first and check my links are working! So excited to get back into things! My week away has done wonders 🖤🖤.
Checking in with yourself as often as you check your feed is essential.
You don't have to be a meditation master either (trust me, I'm not). It can be as simple as pausing in a moment to evaluate your emotional state and its roots. What does your peace feel like, look like, smell like, sound like? .
When you are in a frantic state, can you identify the triggers or #patterns? For me it can be something as simple as too much coffee or my body demanding some #screenfreetime. It really can be so simple when we are paying close attention and taking time to check in to know what we need most. .
What are the ways you check in?
