“let it be” is my October Affordable Art Act offering!
48x24 acrylic and pastel on canvas, part of the water color collection,
(has been hung horizontally and i also love it that way) offered at $800 until claimed or until the end of October. DM if this piece is for you. read on for more about the Affordable Art Act...
. . .
just before the holidays i did “the 12 days of paintings”, do you remember? i offered one painting per day at 40-60% off. the idea was to help everyone feel abundant during the holiday season and hopefully help a few people take home art they love.
. . .
well, it was so fun and you were all even more enthusiastic than i expected! i loved connecting with so many people over those days. each painting went to someone i know was thrilled to have it and (since i’m thinking about gratitude so much lately) the gratitude flowed both ways.
. . . .
since then i have learned about the Affordable Art Act started by @amystoneart “because everyone deserves to own art they love.”
. . .
in that spirit, i’m going to choose one Affordable Art Act piece each month. it will be posted here and available until it sells or until the end of the month. it could be large or small, old or new, on paper or canvas - i’ll try to surprise you :)
. . .
i hope you’ll look forward to these offerings each month. would you do me a favor and tag or share with someone who would love this piece or who would be interested in the #affordableartact ?
thank you, thank you❤️🙏🏻

This is a portrait of the one and only @jenedictkate . I wanted to make a piece that explored the feminine form within a celebration of nature. In not artsy terms, I wanted to paint a naked woman with pretty fruit and flowers, because tbh they're some of my favorite things in life. So here it is, the origin of my love for my girlfriend.
