Spring is so invigorating. Wildlife and flowers abound, the sun finally shows itself (at least in Seattle ⛅️), and my allergies go haywire. 🤣 I love how full of life this time of year is, and I’m so excited to spend the rest of this beautiful season up in Alaska! 🐻🌷⛺️
“A good time occurs precisely when we lose track of what time it is.”
And this is what totally happened yesterday.
We first heard that there were supposed to be thunderstorms so we thought it’s going to be a slow Saturday. After a long breakfast with friends and family Felix and I loaded the dogs in the car and drove towards the mountains. We just wanted to give it a try.
We had to wait for 30 minutes along the way because the farmers were moving cows and blocked the road. We were SO close to our final destination. Honestly, we had so much fun watching and after 30 minutes the farmer told us about a backroad we could use. (It would’ve been nice if he told us earlier but hey, at least he did)
The second we started the hike, I could feel raindrops falling on my head. I must say, I wasn’t very positive. I thought we would have to turn around any second. I was wrong. The sun popped through every once in a while. I did lose track of time.
It was so SO nice. I was able to calm down and enjoy the air, natures sounds (no cars) and the view. Plus I had the best company: Syra🐶, Samba🐕 and Felix.
