Lunch Box inspo 💫🍱💫 Simple & Delicious ideas. 1-5, which is your favourite?

Having lunch prepped ahead of time is absolutely the best feeling🥗 If you’re planning to make your lunch this week, here’s some inspo for prep❤️
1. Chopped romaine topped with cucumbers🥒, tomatoes🍅 and seared salmon with berries and chocolate covered almonds on the side.
2. Bento box with some of my favorites herbed turkey, guacamole, a soft boil egg🥚, cucumber🥒 and strawberries🍓.
3. Cucumbers🥒, cheddar cheese, blueberries and peppered salami.
4. In my lunch 👉 buffalo chicken skewers, cucumber🥒 slices, homemade ranch, unexpected cheddar from traderjoes and OH GOSH GRAPES AGAIN! 😂
5. Cherry tomatoes🍅, seasoned almonds, cheddar cheese and mini gherkin dill pickles🥒.

Haven’t prepped dinner yet but at least we got dessert covered🍫I whipped up a fresh batch of my Almond Butter Brownies (+ extra chocolate chips) because someone tagged me in their remake and I forgot how good they were 👇🏼
Almond Butter Brownies:
1 cup almond butter
1/3 cup honey or agave
2 tbsp brown sugar or coconut sugar
1 tspn vanilla extract
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tspn baking soda
1/4 tspn salt
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
Blend all ingredients except the chocolate chips in a food processor until smooth (or mix by hand). Fold in some of chocolate chips, saving some to top with.
Flatten into a lined 8 X 8 baking dish and top with remaining chocolate. Bake on 350 for 12-13 minutes. Let cool and slice.
Last ditch attempt to train for the Sydney Harbour 10km this weekend that I literally signed up for today😅 This run was hard and I’d be happy with anything sub 5’00 pace tbh. Can’t wait to see you @runningwildjay 🤩🏃🏽♀️💦

🏋️♀️Are you worried about iron? Lots of moms are! Iron is a concern for all small kids, but especially kids eating a heavy dairy diets and kids eating plant-based diets.⠀⠀
A few tips:⠀⠀
🍊 Serve a vitamin C source at every meal and snack. I've shown fruit here, because fruit tends to be more popular. There are tons of veggies with Vitamin C too. Vitamin C increases absorption.⠀⠀
🐄 If you serve animal milks (cow, goat, etc.), don't serve more than 16 oz per day.⠀⠀
💊 If your pediatrician says your child has low iron, ask about supplements. It is not usually practical to resolve an iron deficiency with diet alone. ⠀⠀
Iron from plants is harder for the body to absorb, which is why it's important to mix with Vitamin C. Iron from animals (heme iron) is easier to absorb, but you can increase it's absorption even more with Vitamin C.⠀⠀
Daily Iron intake for OMNIVOROUS Kids:⠀⠀
7-12 mo: 11 mg⠀⠀
1-3 yrs: 7 mg⠀⠀
4-8 yrs: 10 mg⠀⠀
9-13 yrs: 8 mg⠀⠀

7-12 mo: 19.8 mg⠀⠀
1-3 yrs: 12.6 mg⠀⠀
4-8 yrs: 18 mg⠀⠀

Is there one meal you miss most about your childhood?
For me it’s my Mum’s ~signature~ lasagne 😢. I don’t know whether it’s nostalgia or her *secret* ingredient which made it so good, but nonetheless I’ve been on a search for a remake!
Now I think I found a contester 😍 as I cannot get over how good this vegan version of such a classic was @bahaveganuk & the decadence of it reminded me just how I used to love it.
With my mum now also not eating meat, this is definitely a dish I’m going to get her to try asap to see if she approves 🤭🙏🏻

Send noods 🍝 Garlic honey sesame broccoli on a bed of rice noodles w/ sriracha cashew ginger sauce at that 🌞 Seriously easy and an under 30 minute meal! For the broccoli I fried it off in some sesame oil and then once cooked through a bit I added the honey garlic sauce to it: 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp tamari, and 1 minced clove of garlic. Topped it on some rice noodles with edamame and drizzled the sauce over. For the sauce: 1 Tbsp cashew butter, 1 Tbsp sriracha, 1 Tbsp tamari, 1/2 tsp fresh ginger, 2 Tbsp water. Super easy and so good 💆🏻♀️

➰ Pasta jambon cru et petits pois ➰
Petit plat du midi, en suivant l’envie du moment 😋. On a dans l’assiette 🍴 120 gr de tagliatelles 💕 60 gr de petits pois cuits 💕 du parmesan 💕 sel 💕 jambon cru 🍴possibilité d’ajouter pour que ce soit moins secs : un peu d’eau des pâtes ou un peu de crème ou du Pesto ! Et même un petit oignon ! 😉
Il n’y a pas plus basique 🤗. Bon appétit 😋
