Opposites Attract: Loving a Night-Shifter How To:
1) Write lots of love notes💕💋
2) Text like there’s no tomorrow—message that hunk and tell him about the puppy photo you just saw and now are obsessed with😌
3) Try for strategic phone calls/meal dates. 👩❤️👨
4) Be patient/understanding. And LAUGH A LOT. If you’re fighting, break out that story of the patient who got some bodily fluids on you🤷🏼♀️ that normally cracks us right up.
5) Listen to the stories—the bad ones and good ones. We all need to vent.
6) Maintain emotional and physical intimacy, dependent on you and your partner’s love languages.
7) Have grace with your partner and let them sleep. Sometimes midday naps can feel like such a waste of time to me—but they’re important for the mental/physical health of my partner and that’s worth not folding laundry or doing the dishes every once in awhile. 💤 • #thenursecouple •Check out the link in our bio for our full blog and tips!•

The proof is in the padding!...😎
Here are the survey results from our recent trial at Kaiser Vacaville! I also realized I've never posted pictures of our self-inflating seizure pads on IG. So here is what buzz is all about!!
💯 💯 💯💯 💯
The crib pads have that cute design to give kids something to look at. It's hard being in the hospital especially when you are a kid. Do you think our adult seizure pads should get a cute design also?🤣 👎 Or 👍
(PS: SafeSeizure pads have a universal design. They work on all beds. The bed/crib seen in these photos are two of the many beds our product will fit. For questions message me here or via our website. Link in bio). ✌🏿

Checknout this amazing nurse ❣@nursekeat_ ❣and her "Why Nursing" story ⤵️. 🔅Like, Share, Follow🔅.
I chose nursing because I have a caring spirit & I wanted to do something that involved helping people who couldn’t help themselves. That’s why I gravitated towards psych nursing. What I love most is watching my patients get better/recover. Watching them become their healthy/stable selves again is amazing! .
The advice I would give my “nursing school self” is ..don’t skip that one topic you don’t think is important, because it will be on the exam! 😂
You guys might have noticed, but since I started as an NP, I have been taking more vacations. For 7 years as a bedside nurse my PTO was used almost solely for sick time (yes, I was constantly sick as a bedside nurse but that’s a whole different post). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Since becoming an NP, I vowed to get out of the hospital as much as possible to prevent burnout and live a more balanced life. Sometimes I travel to see family, sometimes I take trips for fun, and sometimes I stay home and hang with my pup, but now, I never waste my vacation time. Overall, I’ve found, the more I’m out of the hospital, the better I am in the hospital. I’m more motivated to work, emotionally available, and ready to absorb and learn. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you all take vacations/staycations? And most importantly, where are you guys headed next? And have you ever seen a cuter corgi bomb a photo? ☀️🌴⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The backbone of healthcare is coffee; now, you can show that you are one of many coffee-drinking healthcare professionals.
It doesn't matter how you measure it; health care is the backbone of every other aspect of life. If it weren't for the people who work in health care, no one would know what it is like to be healthy. I am proud to say that I am one of them.
But as a great nurse once said "I love coffee. I drink coffee every day in the hospital, and I have no plans to stop. I hope that I'll never have to stop drinking it" - @nurse.to.be.martin

According to the hospital’s administrator, the bed was damaged beyond repair and a new one has to be ordered to replace it, which costs $4,000.
King was originally admitted to the hospital for respiratory failure and admitted he had no intention of harming himself or anyone else, records show. 💊💉 Source: @news6wkmg
