✖️FOCUS✖️felt so energized & determined while I was in the gym today! I like to fuel my workouts by getting into the right head space beforehand. I'll jam in the car on the way there to get myself amped. If I'm not in the right head space before a workout chances are the workout is gonna suck because I will become distracted. So I put the music on and tune the world out about 20 min before I go in order to really get focused on the lift ahead. It can also help by watching some motivational videos before a lift to really keep your mind on track and keep that lazer focus during your gym session!

When I first started this journey, I had 2 friends at the end of high school. Those same 2 people, were the first one to tell me how I’d waste my time trying to be a bodybuilder because I didn’t have any muscles, I wasn’t confident enough and that I should just quit before I even started. I was quiet, I had no confidence in myself, I played sports but I was never great. I did my best to fit in the crowd during that time of my life just trying to skate by with no real goals or aspirations.... Bodybuilding transformed me physically but most importantly mentally. I finally started to see progress, I looked in the mirror and actually smiled and most importantly, I was finally proud of how hard I can work. So I continued doing it and I got better and better. No matter who you are or what you do, don’t ever tell yourself you can’t do something you put your mind to. I’m here today, representing myself and accomplishing so much because I took that chance. I went against what the people who I thought mattered the most to me and went out of my comfort zone and I became something I am so grateful to have transformed into. You all want to get to know me better? Well that’s the beginning of a very long book I’m excited to start talking more about 🙏
A true artist will always strive to grow. I will always become better than I was yesterday and I’ll only be better tomorrow.
This year will be a year I will jump and take every chance I can. I will ask for chances and not be afraid of a no.
It’s just the beginning of @beautybykellym
Cuz i hate my friends and need new ones 😂
@hello_new_man_ny @iza.does.it 🤷🏽♂️.... i guess the question now is who wore it better? 😂
Standing on the diagonal on stage in the front relaxed pose, watching 5 other guy’s numbers get called out to center stage. My number not being one of them
That is something I’ve never experienced competing in this sport of bodybuilding. I’ve always either won my class or at least got called out first callouts. Standing there posing with a fake smile watching 5 other guys battle it out was not a good time lol
But it humbled the hell out of me and I needed that. One thing keeping my head up is we just simply miss-timed some things with carbing up and I just did not look my best by stage time. It can happen in this sport. You just gotta learn from it for next time
But I know what I’m capable of when I’m 100% dialed in at my best. And I will be bringing that next year with a far better result leaving the stage. Until then, back to work
