Hi I’m a manual osteopathic practitioner.
What is that, you ask?
I do soft tissue treatments but I am not a Massage therapist.
I mobilize joints but I am not a chiropractor.
I provide exercise to strengthen weak areas but I am not a physiotherapist.
I assess posture but I am not yoga instructor.
I perform gait analysis but I am not a podiatrist.
Breathwork is an important part of my therapy but I am not a breath therapist.
I am a manual Osteopath.

Manual Osteopathy aims to improve overall health and wellbeing across all body systems by utilizing a systemic and holistic approach to healing.
Hence, the techniques have similarities to other alternative health professionals. This allows us to assess the individual needs of our clients land develop a treatment plan that adequately responds by utilizing a wide range of tools, techniques and therapies.
The therapy works to correct dysfunction and imbalances; to help your body to recognize and reconnect to its own internal healing mechanisms; to relieve chronic pain and discomfort; strengthen the musculoskeletal framework; improve mobility, range of motion and so much more. It’s hard to stay motivated when you’re so close to the couch. I know. 🥔🛋️
Make your training a daily habit and a priority. Trust me, sinking into that couch will feel so much better after you’ve earned it. 🤤
So a lot of strength training exercises can be done in the comfort and privacy of your home, using just your bodyweight or basic, low-cost equipment as resistance. As much as I never want to do another lunge or burpee in my life. 😂 Simple things really do work!
You don’t need to invest in much equipment, but if you do want to purchase a few items, here are some that I have at home that may be helpful:
The glorious booty bands
Mirror (to watch your form) lol
Get creative!! 👉 Instead of using dumbbells or a kettlebell, you can improvise by using water bottles, bags with bricks, or household items like canned goods/potato bags.
Incorporate resistance training with a HIIT workout as often as you can. It is an excellent way of building lean muscle, burning calories, and boosting your metabolism. This, in turn, can help you burn body fat and make weight loss easier. Not to mention it really helps to boost your mood and energy levels.
Pair that with a meal plan and some great supplements from @nutri_consa and it's a recipe for success. 💪

I'd love to see this alpha dragons rippling muscles at the dinner table, granted no one is there because his family thinks he's a whiny bitch and any girl who isn't his sister wouldn't put up with him but uhhh yeah I don't know, you guys are kinda just pathetic.
If I only had one question to ask someone after they have asked me how to get better results it would be this... What are you doing post-workout?
Why you may ask?
Because when I was really struggling at the beginning of my fitness journey, this was the one question that I was asked that changed everything.
Up to that point, I was working my ass off in the gym...training day in and day out and barely seeing results.
It got to the point that I was ready to give up and just say to hell with it.
You see, post-workout is the one time supplements trump Whole Foods and not many of us know this.. I know I sure didn't!
The reason this is, is that our body's are broken down after our workouts. We have depleted some muscle glycogen (stored energy) and created micro-trauma tears in the muscle.
And since our body is in this broken down state, it is primed and ready to recover if the right nutrients are delivered and at the right time.
The longer those nutrients take to get into the body, the less effective they are at helping our bodies recover from the damage.
So, when you are thinking about what to do post-workout...remember, speed is KING!
The proper post-workout shake will digest much faster than Whole Foods so you are able to replenish those drained energy stores and begin the repair and recovery process of the muscle as quickly as possible.
The faster you do that, you will be less sore, you will burn more fat and hang onto more lean muscle!

Here are my tips below that worked for me:
◻️Follow a diet template:
We don’t always eat simply to satisfy hunger. All too often, we turn to food when we are stressed or anxious which can wreck any diet and pack on the pounds. (I am guilty of this ☺️) I found that tracking my nutrients was the best way to gain results. I simply followed the template and weighed my meals--now the results show!
◻️Enter your meals into an app📲:
Recording what you eat every day will help you be accountable of what you put in and gets you self-motivated! I enjoy using the @rpstrength meal app to enter in different nutrients and grams to meet the targets for the day!
◻️Participate in an at-home gym template 💪🏼👊🏼:
Exercising for a minimum of 150 minutes a week will help keep you healthy! I enjoy exercising at least 3-5 times a week mixing strength training and cardio at home! Using the RP at-home gym-free template has got me sweating! I love their HIIT training exercises! During lockdown, I use my Peloton bike or do some social distance walking outdoors has kept me active.
◻️Read e-books about dieting🥗:
For the past 5 months, I have been taking an online nutrition course to learn more about the in-and-outs of how to stay healthy. It really has helped me understand why each vitamin, nutrition supplement, or other items are essential. I also picked up some e-books on healthy recipes from RP to learn how to incorporate healthy cooking styles!
