X-Men: Dark Phoenix
Action (114 menit)
Censor Rate: 13+
Release date: 14 Juni 2019
Showing at all cinemas indonesia.
"In here every women save the people, maybe you could change to X-Women".
Rate from me: 7,0/10 ⭐
Tidak ada after credits untuk film ini.

Oh captain, my captain.
I must have watched this movie for the million time but it is an absolute delight every single time. I always wanted a teacher like John keating who inspired the best in people and taught his students to grab life by the lapes and just live. Not survive. But LIVE .

The Shining (1980) is a horror film directed by Stanley Kubrick. A family heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where a sinister presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from both past and future.
Overall Rating: 8/10
Nicholson, Duvall, and Lloyd all give the best performances in this film, there are a couple of forgettable minor characters. The plot here has average to slow pacing, it's kinda inconsistent but it sets up dread and suspense quite well in some areas. You basically watch the slow transformation of Nicholson's character going insane and the dynamic is very interesting considering the family's backstory. I hate the whole "That movie wasn't scary!" critique because while this film doesn't necessarily scare me someone out there in this world would find this film scary, fear/horror is subjective to different people. The cinematography is phenomenal as always with Kubrick, the shot placement is symmetrical, and direction is fluid and crisp. The color palette too is outstanding and the hotel really feels like an actual hotel, I want to visit it sometime in the near future. The Shining is a pretty great horror film, with enough passion put in all aspects and good performances where it stands the test of time. .
Director: Brad Bird
Ratatouille strikes a great balance between imaginative storytelling, visual imagery, and a strong emotional connection. It's a delightful film!! Detailed review up on the blog, link in bio.

This off hands down one of the darkest & most merciless films ever made in Hollywood mainstream and possibly one of the greatest films of all time.
The film has two Main detectives Somerset( Morgan Freeman) and Mills(Brad Pitt), one an aged detective who is looking forward to his retirement & the other a hot-headed new recruit who has been reassigned to the shithole of a city (UNNAMED) shown in the movie.
The detectives start investigating a grotesque murder and after another gruesome murder, they become aware of the fact that they are dealing with a serial killer, who intends every murder to punish one of the deadly sins like lust, sloth, greed, gluttony.
David Fincher presents a world of irredeemable ugliness, a grim, melancholic, depressing, decaying society from which there is no escape. But don't be mistaken that this is a slasher film, it actually shows only one killing, that too at the end of the movie.
Somerset & Mills make a really odd pair which leads to some truly fascinating conversations between them.
The third act of the film is just mind blowing which culminates into one of the best cinematic climaxes of all time. The introduction of the villain (Kevin spacey) takes the movies to a whole new level.
Spacey steals the whole show after this, he literally embodies evil. The conversation between the conversation between the three main guys in the car soooo good, I was like the things that spacey did were completely unhinged but his reasons for doing that do make sense.
The last 5-10 minutes of the film were really hard for me to watch. I was emotionally drained and exhausted which is a good thing because that's exactly what the film wants. This is the darkest film by David Fincher, that's saying something cause the guy has directed movies like 'GONE GIRL', 'ZODIAC', 'THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO' etc.
I would like to sum it up by saying that this is a dark, gripping thriller which saves it's most shocking revelations for the final scenes & is simply unmissable because of it's ending. #movies#movie #moviereview#movierecommendation #moviereviewers#se7en#bradpitt#morganfreeman#thrillermovie#movielove #movielovers🎬 #moviebuff#cinephile

dir. Nicholas Winding Refn “You keep me under your spell”
A simple story yet told in such mesmerizing performances, cinematography and music, Drive is a stylish thriller movie with a boastful amount of well-developed characters’ relationships and intelligent twists. The mysterious and complex protagonist is referred to only as “the driver” throughout the entirety of the picture, perhaps signifying his character as a getaway driver in the criminal word, a name he cannot flee from, no matter how hard he tries to becoming a normal person with a happy life. The slow tension and the inner conversations of many characters coming back and forth with their decisions and the definitions of who they are make this film so accomplished. All the performances are astoundingly impressive and Ryan Gosling gave the best delivery of any characters on screen he ever played in my opinion. Every detail, including the visual cues, audio cues and missable characters’ exchanges of dialogues, brings up the contrasts of different characters, the way they see each other and themselves. Overall, it’s an intelligent and slow-paced thriller with impressive character building, storytelling, visuals, music and personally my favorite Ryan Gosling film ever.
Men In Black International review: (I’ll try and keep spoilers to a minimum)
I actually enjoyed this. Despite having a different director and cast it actually feels like a Men In Black movie. The best part is easily Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth who just complete the whole film and without them I think this would’ve been a pile of garbage. As a summer-feel good movie, Men In Black International works. It has just the right tone and humour that make it great to going to see with friends or family. If you’re alone, this feels more like a movie you’d play in the background and watch occasionally while you’re doing something else. That doesn’t mean it’s BAD, it just means that it doesn’t particularly bring anything new to the table. The designs and effects of the various aliens impressed me more than I expected and they definitely belong in the MIB universe, especially the tiny alien Pawny, who was surprisingly hilarious and brought a lot of the laughs to this movie. Kumail Nanjiani’s performance as Pawny went perfectly with Hemsworth and Thompson and I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing him. At times it does feel like some stuff was unnecessarily put in and therefore makes a couple of scenes drag and then others are pretty fast-paced. I did have a big problem with the villains, who were just faceless enemies without barely any real exploration into what truly motivated them and I think they should’ve received a lot more development. Men In Black International is a simple and fun movie with a great cast that most people will enjoy and it’s certainly worth a watch.
I give Men In Black International a 6.5/10🕶

#MurderMystery is a new movie from #Netflix and #happymadison with #AdamSandler and #jenniferaniston And this is another poor outing from both Sandler and Netflix. The movie sets up really well but never actually goes to places you want it to go. Game Night last year did the whole murder mystery so much better and there is a real tacky feel to this film. Weirdly though, Sandler out performs Aniston here. She seems a little bored in this role and there is some lack of direction. #2019movie#Movies2019#MovieReview
