I was doing a praise dance on my way out of the Target after checking out! I went in there with a firm budget of $80 to spend at Target, and my visit totaled $61.66!🙌🏾 (Not today Target!🙅🏾♀️) When I called Rick to tell him I was proud of myself...he led with how’s it going with that Amazon budget? AD: Sometimes people ask how do I feel about sharing our family on social media. My response is I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't imagine doing this without them honestly. Do you have a morning routine? I have started working hard on my creating my miracle morning. If you haven't read that book, you need to!
The last two weeks I've really been working on creating a solid morning routine of ME time first thing in the morning. It's so important to do for yourself. I've been using my wakeup light alarm clock to help me get up around 5:30am. So far, the clock has been helping me with the early wake ups since it's not abrupt like a regular alarm clock. .
I follow something called SAVERS from the Miracle Morning for my first hour.
S- Silence. For me this is my time to pray and reflect. For some, it could be a time for meditation.
A- Affirmations. I have written down some positive affirmations that I read daily. This really helps to have a more positive mindset.
V- Visualization. I have started a visualization journal after learning this technique from my mentor Susannah. I decide what mmt focus is, which could be for the day or week, your choice, and then go through the 5 senses and detail what steps it will take to reach that goal and visually see it and how it will happen. .
E- Exercise. I spend the second half of my hour doing my workout. At first it was hard to switch it up to the mornings but I enjoy it so much more! It gives me good energy for the day and saves us trying to cram it in late afternoon and in between the kids activities. .
R- Reading. I try to find a good personal development book to read that again helps with mindset. I'm getting ready to start T is for Transformation by Shaun T.
S- Scribing. I combine this with my visualization since I'm scribing that. I know some people like to journal and find that helpful to clear their minds. .

We call her stompi,my only little sis and business partner, she's the first baby I held in my arms back in the 90's. My mom is her mom's elder sister, she's my little sister 💖 now she's married with two kids 💖
Perfection kills progress before it ever has a chance...... 🔥I could have waited to commit to 100 workouts because I was getting ready to go on vacation. 🔥I could have thrown my nutrition to the wind because I had days where I ate chips or ice cream cake or had a couple glasses of wine 🔥I could have made excuses to sleep in and skip a workout because no one else in the house was up.
But there will never be the perfect time or a perfect day to start.
Don't wait because you think it'll be easier later. I've learned that we THINK it will get easier once a new routine or phase of life starts.....except that each phase brings different challenges and we end up making new excuses.
Say yes to your goals NOW.
Say yes, even though it scares you.
Say yes, and you can.figure it out as you go.
That's what I decided to do, and 3 weeks later - with travel and vacation and birthday celebrations - I've still made progress and I feel so PROUD.
I feel stronger and more confident. I am building a routine in the morning that I was craving but wasnt sure how to start.
