The immeasurably of something is only ever fulfilled while in community. If all the individual grains of a sand dune were scattered across the earth, you would never know it existed. If the stars were so distant that you could only see one or two, they would not have much impact. Yet when in community with each other they creatively build some of the most amazing beauties to be seen. What do you think the immeasurable people of this planet could do if harmonized in perfect community? .

Milky Way season is over? Milky Way season is never over! 🌌 Just because the core disappears from view for 6 months doesn't mean there's no Milky Way to photograph! It's a great time of year to photograph the Great Rift, like in the image above which I took at Blue Pool Bay in Wales a couple of weeks back. The dark lane dissecting the Milky Way is actually a huge molecular dust cloud obscuring our view of the Milky Way behind it. I might have to make a video about the other sections of the Milky Way 🤔

#FBF - Live Endlessly "The miracle of gratitude is that it shifts your perception to such an extent that it changes the world you see."

It's crazy to look back at this photo that I took 7 years ago! I was still living in New Jersey, so I didn't have the access to the dark skies that I do now, but I still loved getting out under the stars. Getting to show the night sky off in a place that people did expect to see it was and is something I truly love about chasing this type of image. I name of this photo was inspired by the Sigur Ros album, Play Endlessly, that I was listening to while I shot. The photo ended up being featured as the National Geographic Picture of the Day a few weeks after it was taken.
I'll share more details soon, but I'll be back in New Jersey for the Photo Expo at Unique Photo in Fairfield on Dec 6/7/8! I'll share the schedule for the talk in the next few days.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!! #fallbackfriday#strathmere#newjersey#nightscaper#wheninrhone#foreverforward#drinkcoffeedostuff#milkywaychasers
There is a tingling in the spine, a catch in the voice, a faint sensation as if a distant memory, of falling from a height. We know we are approaching the greatest of mysteries. Here are some of my favorite views of our home galaxy from the mountains, deserts, and beaches. Hope you all enjoy :)
