Have you ever thought “Wow, I love their body. I wish mine was like that.” I just thought that yesterday. And have had those thoughts since puberty. There is nothing wrong with appreciating another person’s body. We should celebrate all shapes and sizes in a healthy way. But what I’m working on is celebrating people, without envy. I can admire someone’s shape and still love mine too. At the same time, I want to bear in mind that people are so much more than their body, shape, and appearance. But I still think it’s ok to say “dang, her body looks amazing in that outfit!” We need to lift each other up.

I wasn’t always confident
I used to cry getting dressed in the morning
I used to be worried about what other people thought about me
I used to play the comparison game on social media with other girls and think “if only I could look like that”
UNTIL I started forcing myself to see myself differently. .
I CHOSE to combat negative opinions with positive ones. .
Every negative thought that popped into my head, I came back at it with the exact opposite. .
I started lifting because I LOVED myself and wanted to get healthy and strong. .
I learned how to fuel my body for all of the amazing things that I am capable of. .
I don’t gaf about what other people think of me, my clothes, my lifestyle... the people that are in my circle support and love me unconditionally
I CHOSE to make a change in my life from pain and restriction to strength and freedom because I LOVED MYSELF and wanted so much more.
I know that you understand. .
I have felt how you feel. .

Do you journal? I’ve been journaling nonstop for the last few days. It really helps me to sort out my brain chemistry and I’m starting to feel better. The Gemini moon illuminated my need to shift my mindset, and this is my quickest way back to positivity!!
My favorite exercise is to turn all my limiting beliefs into positive ones. I write out a sentence that I’ve been thinking, cross it out, and write down a positive thought to replace it. For example:
There’s something wrong with me for wanting more from life than working a job that makes me a lot of money. (I don’t know how the tech savvy folks get the different fonts on here, but imagine a big black mark all over that horrible thought). I am inspired and passionate about making a difference in many peoples lives. My purpose is sharing my wisdom and it’s a blessing. Much better. ...
I also realized I’m focusing on what I don’t want, which is not the way to communicate with the Universe. So, I spent an hour this morning unapologetically writing down all the things I want for myself. I wrote six pages of things I want 😂🤣 and it made me so happy to think about them. ...
The last exercise was to write all the ways I’ve been holding myself back, followed by how I can break that chain. An example here is that I’ve been believing I don’t have time to do all the things I want to do, but the truth is that I can prioritize things and approach them with joy and time will expand. Cuz magick. 💖
