Coming soon to a charming little theatre near you! Just what is "Mrs. Warren's Profession"? What job do you see her in? Leave us a comment with your guess, then call us at 215-295-3694 to reserve your tickets to the show, so you can find out if you were right! 🎭 .
🎭 Things I learned from this last audition 🎭
1. Make a bold first choice.
2. Listen closely to the other actors. You have the opportunity to connect with them on stage. Do it.
3. Be honest. Stop trying to anticipate what they are going to want you to be. Just be yourself and let go of what you can't control.
By Marcia Johnson
Produced in association with Thousand Islands Playhouse
Turning The Crown Upside Down. Politics and pop culture collide with unexpected twists as this new play moves between 1952 Kenya—when an anti-monarchist cook challenges Princess Elizabeth in the moments before she becomes queen—and 2015 London—when a Kenyan-Canadian film student clashes with convention and custom while working on a TV series about the Royals. The tension between people and politics—opposition to imperialism, embedded prejudice and unconscious bias, and an irresistible attraction to the monarchy as presented in popular media—infuses and ignites the play.
AUDIENCE GUIDANCE: Suggested for ages 13 and older. See Audience Advisories for more information.

Emma Grace Imes (Age 23) Star dress with a solar system necklace. "This is my favorite dress. I've only had the opportunity to wear it once. This photo is from that night. It was my last "Wally Rewards" with the UK theatre department. I hate that I was so nervous the entire night I wasn't able to take a decent photo. There was so many things I wanted all of the wonderful friends around me to know I was overwhelmed I clammed up and barely spoke to anyone."

Frankenstein - NT Live starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the Creature.
Saturday 7th March at 1:00pm at @byrontheatre
Tix $15 - $25 available through the link in our bio.
Frankenstein by Nick Dear, based on the novel by Mary Shelley.
Frankenstein returns to our big screen to mark the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s most famous novel.
Captured live in 2011 from the National Theatre stage in London, this thrilling, sold-out production became an international sensation, experienced by almost half a million people in cinemas around the world.
Directed by Academy Award®-winner Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire), Frankenstein features Benedict Cumberbatch (Hamlet, BBC’s Sherlock) and Jonny Lee Miller (Elementary, Trainspotting) alternating between the roles of Victor Frankenstein and his creation.
Please note: We will be screening the performance with Benedict Cumberbatch playing the Creature and Jonny Lee Miller as Victor Frankenstein.
Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein’s bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes, the increasingly desperate and vengeful Creature determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal.
Scientific responsibility, parental neglect, cognitive development and the nature of good and evil, are embedded within this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic tale. .
★★★★★ ‘A hell of a production.’ The Times .
★★★★ ‘A thrill. The most viscerally exciting and stunning show in town.’ Daily Telegraph .
. ★★★★ ‘The actors complement each other perfectly.’ Guardian .
★★★★ ‘A monster hit.’ Time Out .
@fredskeleton "Art" hits the stage March 19!
We are proud to feature Kelowna local Bonnie Esson as "Marie" (Mark in the original script).
Bonnie Esson has been absent from theatre for nearly a year, breaking a 4 year theatre streak! During this time she has climbed many a mountain, fought a few wild animals, and forged a stream, or at least a puddle. She has also been moonlighting as a stand up comedian and infrequent improviser.
Bonnie has appeared in many a Fred Skeleton production including Our Country's Good, Christie in Love, Vanya, Sonia, Masha, and Spike, and Top Girls. She is incredibly honoured to be a part of Art, finally putting to use her degree in Visual Arts and giving her an opportunity to be reunited with her crew of rufflers, Neville Bowman, Vance Potter, and Shannon Mason-Brown.

Human/Blockhead. // I will say, for the record, that I have had this toy for well over 30 years. It’s not one of those cheap knock-offs you get at a discount store, no no. This thing was gotten legitimately, in a @mcdonalds happy meal when I was maybe 8 or 9. I obsessed about him and finally got him, and he’s been with me ever since. And FYI, the photo was his idea. I’d never do him any harm 😏
