Meal prep 101: get home, take off your pants and cook your heart away 😂
No but seriously, it takes me 2 hours to meal prep (including the clean up) 😌
How the hell do I do it?
No pants...😂😂 jk, okay I’m done
Here are four things that you can do that will make the most out of your meal prep time
1. Clean while you cook - even when you’re taking pans out of the oven, after cutting blah. If you’re done with the dish, wash it!
2. Prepare baked food first so that you can multitask while it cooks (I.e. put laundry in the wash, cut raw veggies & fruits, measure them into baggies)
3. You’ll have an assembly line of foods coming out of the oven, so measure in Tupperware in between and of course, wash the pan when you clear out the food
4. My peeps that love variety - Don’t meal prep an entire meal for all three meals every day - there are meals you can eat that don’t need to or can wait to be cooked 😌 I have two posts coming this week to help make this make sense lol
Stay tuned y’all!
Drawls courtesy of @bootaybag_ 👙 a subscription for underwear is much more simple than going in and shopping for them 😁 because as you can tell, I’m all abut efficiency and convenience

⚛️please read⚛️ I saw this picture pop up today and I wanted to share what came to mind... it’s a little lesson I learned just recently about getting in line.
What you see here is a girl who got in line at 15 and was here in this pic at 27. Many years under her belt building a single vision and just about 25 shows deep to practice with it.. .
What this girl is showing me is possibility. That this principle of getting in line, I can ... and you can... use no matter what we choose to do.... .
I say this now at the beginning of many lines in my life. Scared and new and slightly confused. But excited alive and growing all at the same time. .
This picture reminds me of the chubby girl on stage feeling the same way doing her first show, stumbling through learning and sponging up all the experience she could. .
Know what we want (pick a line)
Get in line
Stay in line
Work with all your heart
Love it so much that you don’t even notice a line. #alignment
And then you look up years later and you are the one leading your line. #nobetterfeeling
We can do whatever we put our minds to. Patience for the big vision, but hungry in the moment.
Work like hell knowing it’s on its way. 🙏✨#believe ⚛️what line are you in? ⚛️ I’d love to know, old or new comment below. .
The middle is messy but it’s also where the magic happens ✨
@brenebrown’s Rising Strong has been getting me through what I can only describe as the messy part. It’s funny how we kick and scream in the messy middle part of our stories and want it to all be over. Yet when I stopped and thought no this is where the magic lies and the secret to what needs to be healed I started to look at things very differently. When Brene spoke about Jospeh Campbell’s three step storyline for life. I remembered shit Queen you’re in that bit of the story where the hero has to prove what they’ve learnt and overcome the challenge 👑
I remember the many messy bits I’ve been in over my life and at the time it felt like it would never end but it always does. The sun always returns and I came out on top and so will you Queen. This is your storyline, your plot and you’re the hero here to overcome your challenges in life. The Universe only gives you what you can handle so think about how brave you’ve been up until this point to keep getting up 🙌🏼
When we show up in the arena as Brene puts it we close the door behind us and we can’t go back to where we were before. We have to keep rising strong every time we get our arses kicked and we fall. The strength, courage and vulnerability you build as you rise is what the real transformation is. So if you’re not where you thought you’d be right now in life it’s okay, you’re just on step 2 - the messy middle bit and that’s okay because this is where the hero realises their power and takes on the challenge. Remember the good guys always come out on top and the story will end happy. It’s the same for all of us without the messy part we wouldn’t be able to rise strong, up level our lives and manifest our desires ❤️
The rainbow is coming and the storm will soon fade. This is part of the process. Stay the course and have faith that everything that’s meant for you IS coming 🌈

😳Pretttttyyy sure I could have found a more delicate way to say this on a call this morning.😳 But I was coaching a very successful woman who spends incredible amounts of time doing things for others. (Which is, by the way, in part what initially helped her become successful). However, when the balance tips and now you are doing things ALL THE TIME for others because you are failing to draw boundaries, speak up for what you really want, protect your time, and prioritize the things that really bring you joy, meaning and momentum... well then, Houston we have a problem.
Saying no should not be an awkward or difficult thing for you at this stage of your life. Period.
That applies to YOU.
Listen... I’m urging.. Say no more! you’re allowed, you’re not in high school anymore. Be your own person. Chart your own path. Fight to protect your time and space and things that matter to you.
Don’t be a people pleaser guided your whole life by the whims of others.
Serve a purpose and protect that. “But people won’t like it, Brendon.” So?
Anyone who gets mad at you for not complying with their every request is definitely not someone deserving of lots of YES anyway. Feel me?
If they cry and stomp realize that’s normal for children not for your friends, peers, or random people you’re always trying to impress or fit in with. And no child should be directing you more than you are directing them anyway.
Say YES to who and what matters. Say NO to things that — gasp! — you know you want to say NO to.
You’re old enough to get that by now. 😳 oh yes I did 👋

You ever feel stuck?
You think Life is truly not on your side? 🌸
I know what it feels like to go through years of getting a degree and not even using it in your current position.
When is it my turn? I have been committed in the same company for a long time and didn’t get a raise.
I know It is written “ I can do all things” but why am I not being recognized for that promotion?😣 Getting a mentor or a coach will help you get results on how they collapse 10 years of knowledge in a short period of time for you...it is a real investment.
I challenge you to get with one.

Choosing convenience over commitment will lead to a mediocre life. Greatness if found where
there is commitment. Commitment is a prerequisite for greatness.
Professional athletes train not when it’s convenient, but they train when they say the are going
to train. Being committed vs interested is one of the key differentiations between an average life
and a great life.
Are you committed to your goals, your dreams, and your best
life? Or are you just interested?
If you find yourself just interested don’t beat yourself up. Here’s the deal with commitment, it’s a
daily choice; it’s something that we all have to act upon every day. The good news is that you
can re-commit today, don’t let shame or guilt stop you from stepping into the greatness that I
can see in you!
Once a year I reread this. To remind myself that it’s bigger than me, to remind myself of the commitment I need to make in order to become the best me possible. 1 chapter, everyday, for 40 days. You want in?

We talk about being intentional: physically, professionally, spiritually, emotionally, sexually. And intentionality IS important, and easy to recommend to each other, but — damn, it’s also a lofty goal.⠀
So, rather than talk nebulously about it, I want to share one concrete, immediately actionable tool I like: to get in the practice of being very, very specific. Rather than thinking “I want to spend more time meditating,” I plan 20 minutes in the morning before my children wake up. If I want a closer connection with my partner, I ask open ended and detailed questions. If I want to achieve significant goals, I take the time to plan my week and time block specific intervals to work on that goal. ⠀
I don’t just hope that things will align in my favor. I am specific about my energy and focus. I strive to align my actions with my values. ⠀
You’ll mess up. We all do. I do all the time. But here’s the beautiful part: when you notice yourself being less intentional, you can make a specific adjustment to that, too. ⠀
𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀?
So I realised something 😳…. Most of you don’t have a clue who I am! 🤦♀️ So I thought it was about time I rectify that.
My name is Tessa, life coach and motivational speaker. Here are 10 things you probably didn't know about me;
1. I joined the 30’s club this year (actually really excited about that!💃)
2. I was born in the Netherlands but lived on 4 different continents since then; North-America, Africa, Europe and now Australasia. Safe to say I love traveling!🌏🛩
3. I need to have a big fat laugh at least once a day, usually at the cost of my boyfriend who tends to be a bit grumpy in the morning 🤪
4. I am an aspiring triathlete BUT I finished a half Iron-man in 2017 and haven’t entered a race since then 🙈
5. I am a big animal lover and vegan 🐬🐝🐣🐴
6. We are currently fostering the cutest little creatures from the SPCA but hoping to have my own rescue ranch one day.
7. I am a Christian but very open about the fact that I am flawed and that it is only because of Christ's unfailing and limitless love for me that I am saved ✝
8. Even though I live in New Zealand now and loving it, I left most of my heart
in South Africa with it's crazy beautiful nature, wild life 🐘🦒and the amazing people that live there. Not too much of a surprise that my amazing partner is also South African 😍
9. I still deal with lots of insecurities due to a very chaotic and messy childhood but truly grateful for the experiences as they made me into the kind, caring and passionate person I am today 🙏
10. I think that I have the best job on the planet! Being a life coach and being able to help other women find their purpose, overcome their insecurities, be confident in who they were created to be and becoming the best version of themselves each day is the greatest blessing ever!
I would love it if you told me 1 thing about yourself 😊

take even better care this time of year.
Our society encourages overconsumption, overstimulation and other excessive behaviors over the holiday season. It’s also a time that triggers many due to loneliness, family dynamics and more.
I try to take the opposite approach and slow down more than speed up, take less than more and increase my self-care routine vs letting it slip to the side.
It’s never a good feeling to look back on a holiday season and feel that you were imbalanced...not present... and not able to connect.
Let’s decide now, together, to make this year a little sweeter.

The key to success is to keep going and taking action on your dreams no matter what.
Remember, 'failure' is only what you perceive it to be.
Many of our greatest leaders 'failed,' and them picked themselves up to be greater and wiser than they were before, which led to their wild success.
You're born with everything you need within you to reach your dreams.
Believing in you,
